Renee stopped by the podcast today to share her leadership journey. She started as a volunteer with the organization in 1999 as a college student. She was hired and went on to manage and oversee the development of the dental clinic that oversees patients in over 20 counties. She went on to be promoted to Program Director which managed most of the fund raising and operation of over 75% of the organization. She now leads the HIV Alliance as their Executive Director that has over 90 employees, serves every county in the State of Oregon excepted 5 in the Portland Metro-Plex area. They have 5 offices in 5 counties and a 6 million dollar budget. This is her leadership story.

She served for 14 years as the Executive Director of The Relief Nursery in Cottage Grove. She also was elected to the Cottage Grove City Council. She served 8 years on the Council and 4 of those years as City Council President. This is her journey!

He and his wife Michele climbed out of over $300,000 of debt, outside of their mortgage, to financial independence. His advanced degrees in Finance and Accounting did not spare him from poor personal financial decisions. He was a highly successful finance professional. He just could not find that sucess at home until he confronted his own struggles with money. This is his story.

She completed high school as a highly accomplished student/athlete. She left home to pursue her interests and dreams at the collegiate level. She married her high school sweetheart. She became pregnant early on and decided to stay home and raise their children. She says she "thrived" as a stay at home. She loved it. When she to go back into the workforce and college she found she was quickly dismissed for being a stay at home mom. She rebuilt her image, her mindset and her professional opportunities that brought her to the Executive Director position. Here is her story.

She was raised here in Oregon. She is an a graduate of the University of Oregon and a die hard Duck football fan! She is a young, vibrant leader in the Chamber of Commerce, the community and her family. She has gone from volunteering at Churchill High School, to leading the now volunteers at Churchill High School with the Kids Helping Kids Program for the Children's Miracle Network.
