She share her amazing leadership journey from her first assignment to the ICU, to a Community Nurse in the most violent city in America at that time, Camden, NJ. She supported her husband, raised their family during his two tours of Combat to Iraq as an active duty US Army soldier. He is now in the National Guard. He just returned home from a year long deployment in Kosovo. He is also a police officer for the Eugene Police Department. He is a survivor of the Thurston High School Shooting in 1996.
