Margaret stopped by the podcast today to share her leadership story. She has her Bachelor's, Master's and PhD. She is also are an RN! She share her amazing leadership journey from her first assignment to the ICU, to a Community Nurse in the most violent city in America at that time, Camden, NJ. She discussed the mentors along the way who introduced her to teaching. She expressed how many individuals invested in her development through the process of mentoring as she ascended to Deanship's and Vice Presidency's of college's and universities. She shared how she developed her clarity of vision and purpose in serving at the local community college level.

As a the new City Manager at that time we came into her position as our community was suffering from a global pandemic, economic crises, Holiday Farm Fire and the social unrest issues due to the George Floyd murder on the national scene. Jennie stopped by the podcast today to share her leadership journey. She is a stay home mom raising 5 distince and unique children. She is also a military wife and law enforcement wife. She supported her husband, raised their family during his two tours of Combat to Iraq as an active duty US Army soldier. He is now in the National Guard. He just returned home from a year long deployment in Kosovo. He is also a police officer for the Eugene Police Department. He is a survivor of the Thurston High School Shooting in 1996. She shared her leadership journey learning the resturant business from her parents. She opened 35 resturants in the US and Canada while working as a Corporate Training for Red Robin. Avril joined the podcast to discuss her leadership journey from Northern Ireland during the time of occupation by British Troops known as "The Troubles". She knew that conflict her entire life from her birth until the age of 28 when she came to the U.S. to attend college. Through her journey of leadership development, earning an MBA, working in the manufacturing field, she is now the General Manager for an organization that will have a total sales of 60 to 70 million this year.
