  • 4PM: Bucks Sign Myles Turner & Waive Dame Lillard! Plus, Jim Rutledge Joins!
Matt Hamilton & Molly Brown hold down the open of today's show reacting to the Bucks waiving Damian Lillard to sign free agent center Myles Turner on a 4-year, $107 million deal! They marvel at the Bucks almost unprecedented decision to stretch the remainder Dame's $113 million salary to make space for Turner, get into the teams other moves from Kevin Porter Jr to Pat Connaughton, and they hear from ESPN's NBA expert Tim Bontemps explain why this move doesn't make the Bucks that much better than they were at the end of the playoffs! Jim Rutledge joins from Mirror Lake fresh of his paddle board to give his thoughts on Bucks GM Jon Horst making the Hail Mary move that he talked about during yesterday's show, and he explains why he's not willing to eat crow on his anti-Horst takes just yet! Matt & Molly roll on and throw out today's first Siding Unlimited poll question: After today’s moves, do the Bucks look desperate or smart? Can both be true, and how much better does this make the Bucks in the Eastern Conference next year? They wrap up Hour 1 addressing some of the fan's sentiments that Dame was somehow done dirty in this entire transaction, and they Shams Charania's report that Dame actually "welcomed" the change of scenery out of Milwaukee!

  • 5PM: Milwaukee Bucks Gap Year or Hail Mary Year? Plus, Betting the Over on Yourself!
Matt Hamilton & Molly Brown roll into Hour 2 by giving their responses to today's main Siding Unlimited poll question: Did the Bucks extend Bobby Portis to keep Giannis in Milwaukee or to win a Championship? Does this current Bucks roster make Giannis want to stick in Milwaukee, and is this just the first of many moves as the Bucks attempt to just remain relevant with Giannis next year? Jim Rutledge calls in while on vacation to join conversation about the Bucks extending Bobby Portis and their attempt to build a roster that can contend next year. Can the Bucks both build a championship roster AND keep Giannis happy and is this a "gap year" or a "hail mary year" for Milwaukee and its superstar? Jim also gives his vibe check on his team the Chicago Bulls and the rest of the Eastern Conference, and he begins by answering today's first Siding Unlimited poll question: At what age should kids be trusted to start driving their parents’ vehicles? During Throwing Stones, Matt goes into his Conspiracy Corner to talk about Malik Beasley being at the center of a federal gambling probe for ALLEGED actions he took while with the Bucks in 2023-24. • 4PM: Are the Bucks Making Giannis Happy? Plus, Matt Gets to Drive the Boat & Mark Tauscher joins!
Matt Hamilton & Molly Brown hold it down while Jim Rutledge is out on vacation this week.
