True wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord—a reverent awe that humbles us before God's holiness and authority. Proverbs 9:10 teaches that wisdom is not found in intellect alone but in rightly responding to who God is. This fear of the Lord is not terror, but worshipful reverence. The second half of the verse reminds us that insight flows from knowing the Holy One. Wisdom grows as we grow in our relationship with God. When we see Him clearly, we learn to live rightly. Worship and wisdom are inseparable—those who honor God walk in His ways.
