I hope this episode today with Denise Duffield-Thomas (aka Denise DT) gives you a little insight into how to have hard and honest conversations in your relationships about money and personal needs, how to build a thriving business while also creating a chill life and how to reframe your own money mindset and instill positive money habits with your children.
I brought Denise on the show because there are not a lot of examples out there of moms who are building million dollar companies with super young kids in tow and who are unapologetic about pursuing their dreams and having a ton of fun.
Denise DT is a money mentor for the new wave of online entrepreneurs who want to make money and change the world.
She helps women charge premium prices, release the fear of money and create First Class lives. Her Money Bootcamp has helped over 6,000 students from all around the world reprogram their money mindset and live an abundant life.
She is the author of 3 bestselling books all of which give a fresh and funny roadmap to living a life of abundance without burnout. I've listened to 2 of them on Audible and so I highly recommend them!
Denise calls herself a lazy introvert and an unbusy mother of 3 and when she's not running her multi-million dollar company, you can find her at either her rose farm or at her beach house in sunny Australia.

With the holiday season fast approaching, it's time to start thinking about those health goals for the New Year (and how to lose that "Quarantine 15"). But why wait until the New Year to get started when you can take some of the tips from today's episode and get going today!
Today's guest, Nagina Abdullah is a health coach for female professionals, corporate executives, and 7-figure entrepreneurs and the founder of Masala Body.
She teaches the scientifically-based strategies to help women lose 40-100 pounds even while working 60+ hours a week and if they have tried everything.
Nagina has a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley, a MBA from NYU Stern and worked for a top 4 consulting firm as a management consultant for Fortune 500 health care companies. She has been featured in Health.com, Business Insider, People.com and more.
In this episode Nagina shares some simple tips that you can implement today to get started or compliment your health journey that doesn't require some crazy diet or intense workout regimen. I love Nagina's approach because it's simple and full of flavor!
She also shares her story on how she was able to transition from management consulting to entrepreneurship just this year after starting Masala Body as a side hustle years ago to her demanding corporate job.

This week I'm shaking things up a bit because I'm bringing on my very first dad guest, Todd Herman.
Many of you might know Todd as the award-winning author of the Alter Ego Effect, the founder of the 90 Day Year, author of the children's book, My Super Me, or just as the secret weapon behind many of the professional and Olympic athletes out there.
He's dedicated the past 23 years to creating systems, programs, and coaching the world's elite athletes, leaders, and public figures and has been featured on the Today Show, Sky Business, CBS Sports, NFL Films, and the NY Times.
Todd is extremely good at helping ambitious people calm their minds and master their inner voice. But most importantly, he's a husband to Valerie, and dad to 3 little kids - Molly, Sophie, and Charlie, and today I'm really excited to share this episode because I get to bring out the parent and dad side of him.
Normally we hear about Todd the mindset coach or the systems guy, but today we're going to talk about
I literally could listen to this episode over and over and keep pulling out new "ah ha" moments so I hope that you learn something new too!

Today I decided to put my typical interview format to the side and instead bring to you all a special and timely bonus episode in honor of Election Day. This episode is straight real talk and pieced together based on voice texts from a handful of mom friends, so please excuse the audio quality and raw editing.
In this episode, I brought on a few of my mommy friends all from various backgrounds to share what they will be doing as parents today on Election Day 2020 with their children and how they plan to talk to their children about politics, the election and what today is all about.
I texted them the following 5 questions and had them respond via voice text.
Go VOTE!!! Your vote matters!!!
A special shout out to Shannon Anderson from Voteriders for contributing to this episode. You can find more information to support or volunteer at Voteriders.org

There are so many different ways to parent. And for many of us that starts with our upbringing and the culture we were raised in.
In today's episode, I chat with four Asian-American moms (TCha, Isa, TLo and Chuk), who are the co-hosts of TITT Talks - a podcast about modern women living in a mama world and all moms of kids 5 and under, just like myself.
I originally met these ladies years and years ago during undergrad at UCLA and so it was fun to reconnect and talk about our experiences raising multicultural kids in 2020.
While I was lucky not to have the stereotypical "tiger mom," there are many traditions and norms in the Asian culture that I'm trying figure out how to navigate now while parenting. And like the TITT Talks moms, we are all trying to do our best to instill qualities of compassion, love and understanding within our children… but sometimes the demanding side comes out.
I think my favorite aspect of this episode is hearing the stories of other strong Asian American moms. I think a lot of us were raised to get a good education, work hard, make opportunities for a better life, and raise good kids, but being on a stage or creating a platform for our voice isn't as common. What these ladies are doing with TITT Talks is empowering and paving the way for other Asian Americans out there to have a voice.

There are so many positive things we can add to our daily life to help improve our overall state of being. However, before you can add things into your life (even good), you need to subtract and create space for that good to grow.
Space will allow you to focus on those things that will produce tangible results and awareness around what specific goal or path you should be working on or taking. It'll help bring light to what area of your life or business you want to focus your energy on and as a bonus you'll be excited about it!
In this episode, I talk about my process for identifying, organizing and eliminating these non-value adding activities, distractions, and mindset viruses that are pulling the energy out of you every day, aka "energy vampires" that are literally sucking the life and energy out of you.

This week I get real personal with my recent experience with mommy burnout. It's a real thing and trust me, and you're definitely not alone if you're feeling the same way.
I discuss about how identity was an important part of the burnout and the steps I took to figure out what I needed to do to move forward along with ways you can reframe and think through your situation to get out of the weeds.
[Disclaimer: I'm not a therapist so these opinions are all my own.]
