  • 06. How to Reclaim Your Identity in Motherhood

So often I hear moms (especially with young kids) say, "I don't even know who I am anymore" and questioning if their life is going to be anything more than motherhood. I can relate to this as I was one of those moms with a "past life" that just didn't seem to fit anymore after becoming a mom. I know first-hand what it's like to go through a complete identity crisis.

For some being a mom is the identity they have been searching for their whole life and for others the identity of being a mom is just part of a bigger puzzle, but an unknown bigger picture.

I believe you don't have to be defined as just one thing: a mom, a career woman, a CEO, a wife, a "insert your title here". Instead, if you expand who you are and embrace the concept that you can have multiple selves and identities, you can evolve into something bigger and better.

At the root of the problem is really uncovering who you are in this new chapter of your life in that moment and how you can evolve into a more awesome you, which can honestly apply to anyone.

In this episode I focus on 3 categories to help you on your journey to reclaiming your identity: mindset, action and people. Within each of these categories are a few tips on how to start on your path to rediscovering the amazing new you.

  • 05. From Supporting Corporate CEOs to Becoming Her Own CEO with Natalie Gingrich

"If these are the last days that I have with them [my children], like real rich deep days, I don't want them to think of me as the mom who's only the corporate mom. I wanted them to see a different side of me... the biggest blessing in all of it has been the way that I've been able to transform as being the leader of my children." ~ Natalie Gingrich

In this episode, we go behind-the-scenes with #PowerMom Natalie Gingrich, CEO and founder of the Ops Authority, host of the Ops Authority Podcast, and mom to 2 teenagers.

From thinking she was never going to leave the corporate ladder to launching her own company training and certifying Directors of Operations and working from home, Natalie takes us through what she outsources in life and business, why she enjoys spending 17-hours a week driving her kids around, the power of masterminds, and how living a legacy life is the most important "mantra" to her and her family.

About Mommy's on a Call | Wellness & Mindfulness for Modern Moms, Mindful Parenting, Entrepreneurship

From the publisher's feed

You don’t need another podcast telling you to wake up at 5am and optimize your morning routine. You need someone to tell you the truth about why you’re exhausted, why your gut keeps saying something has to change, and what it actually looks like to build a life that feels as good as it looks.
