Jamie received her Sleep Consultant, Newborn Care Specialist and Foster & Adoption Sleep Consultant Certifications from The Cradle Coach Academy and is certified through The Pediatric Institute for supporting families with children on the Autism spectrum.

Can you imagine being the very first certified Sleep Consultant in your area? Such a great opportunity, but also so daunting.
Nicole Christodoulou got to experience this first hand when she became the first certified Sleep Consultant in Cyprus, which is located in the European Union.
Here is a little bit about Nicole: I am the founder and lead baby and toddler sleep consultant here at The Baby Ypnos. I am an Early Years & Primary teacher, a Music teacher, a wife, and a mother to a wonderful boy (Baby T).
Due to my occupation and spending half of my day with children I thought I knew everything around them and having my own child would be a walk in the park. When the time came, I did my research on ‘what to expect when you are expecting’ and I also attended various pre-natal seminars on birth, breastfeeding, pregnancy exercise, nutrition etc. Though, nothing and no one ever mentioned anything about baby sleep. No one ever talked about the struggle of putting your child to sleep at night, the wakings, the sleep deprivation and the overall effects on the whole family.
Sleep consulting or establishing healthy sleep foundations for children are unknown areas here in Cyprus. Having lots of mummy friends around me and seeing them all going through different sleeping paths and difficulties with their own babies, made my soul hurt. It made me want to help. I could so relate with their stories, and I spent hours talking with them on the phone sharing all the information and knowledge I gathered through my research. All I wanted was to help them and their babies sleep better. Their positive feedback brought butterflies in my stomach. That’s when I realised that helping other families sleep better brings joy to my heart and a big smile on my face. At that moment I knew, I had to do something for me but most importantly for all those new mums out there. And being a ‘Baby and Toddler Sleep Consultant’ was one of the best decisions I ever made.

This is a solo episode where you can get a little taste of what it's like working with me inside our community. This is a conversation that we have quite frequently inside our community and that is: How do you deal with the hate that sometimes comes along with being a Sleep Consultant?
If you are a mom you have likely seen what I'm talking out. Comments that are shaming moms for asking for help with their children's sleep, comments that are hating on mom's decision to sleep train, and comments on Sleep Consultant's posts calling them a scammer.
It happens, it's not fun, and it's not okay. So, how do we deal with it in the best way possible? That's what I'm breaking down today!
I'd love to chat with you if you are considering becoming a sleep consultant and want to know more about our program, what it looks like to be a sleep consultant, how you can find success, if it's the right time for you, or anything else at all. I'm truly an open book! Feel free to message me on Instagram at www.instagram.com/thecradlecoachacademy or schedule a call with me here.
Hope is a mom of three and certified sleep consultant through The Cradle Coach Academy. Before becoming a sleep consultant, Hope was an English as a second language teacher, working both abroad and within the US. She loves that she can now work in her business while raising her kids. She sought out a career in sleep consulting because she sees a massive value in helping parents thrive in their marriages through improving sleep for the whole family.
Hope helps parents dream about their ultimate goals as a couple that may have taken a back seat during current sleep challenges they are facing. She then helps them accomplish those goals, starting with getting back on track with sleep. Hope's philosophy is that by improving your marriage, you are ultimately benefitting the child and the entire family.

Alyssa Wall is an entrepreneur, wife, nurse and most importantly a mama of one. As a first time mom, she felt super naive to how incredibly challenging it would be to manage the sleep of an infant. Her daughter's sleep challenges taught her how quickly sleep deprivation takes a toll and how important sleep was for the healthy functioning and wellbeing of her entire family. After many sleepless nights and in desperation to help her daughter learn healthy sleep habits and independent sleep skills, she started working with a sleep consultant.
It didn’t take long before the entire family was sleeping better and they were able to achieve a healthier routine with more balance, which improved their lives dramatically. Once her daughter was sleeping through the night Alyssa started to feel more like herself again and was able to truly enjoy being a new mom. This experience ultimately led her to become extremely passionate about wanting to help other exhausted parents improve their children’s sleep, so she enrolled in the baby and toddler sleep consultant certification. She has now been working as a Pediatric Sleep Consultant for almost 8 months and has loved every minute that she gets to help families achieve their own sleep goals.
Alyssa works with The Slumber Nest. You can find them at www.theslumbernest.com and https://www.instagram.com/theslumbernest
