If the people can’t go to the music, the Fiery Furnace Marching Band will bring the music to the people. The Moab brass band played their first surprise, socially distant parade on Friday night for the local community. As they wound their way through Moab’s westside, neighbors cheered and danced from their front yards in appreciation. The band’s music acted like a healing balm to collective worries; something familiar and fun in a time of uncertainty. And later on the news, the artist behind the new crosswalk mural on Center Street talks design and process.
