Proverbs 3:13-15 - Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. 14 For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold. 15 Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.

Work really hard

Proverbs 14:23 - Work brings profit, but mere talk leads to poverty!

Proverbs 12:11 - A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies has no sense.

Colossians 3:23 - Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

Be Patient

Proverbs 13:11 - Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.

Proverbs 21:5 - Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.

Save Money

Proverbs 21:20 NIV - The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.

Avoid Debt

Proverbs 22:7 - Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender.

Proverbs 6:1-5 - My child, if you have put up security for a friend’s debt or agreed to guarantee the debt of a stranger— 2 if you have trapped yourself by your agreement and are caught by what you said— 3 follow my advice and save yourself, for you have placed yourself at your friend’s mercy. Now swallow your pride; go and beg to have your name erased. 4 Don’t put it off; do it now! Don’t rest until you do. 5 Save yourself like a gazelle escaping from a hunter, like a bird fleeing from a net.

Honor God

Proverbs 3:9-10 - Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.

Malachi 3:10 - Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!
