We start by celebrating the work of Community Members for Environmental Justice and the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy who forced the city to delay the scheduled Feb 16th vote until the mandatory environmental reviews are completed. We finish with a reflection on public land ownership at the Upper Harbor Terminal.

They open by telling us about the efforts of landlords to evict longterm Black and Immigrant owned businesses and use the uprisings as a pretext to gentrify. Next, we zero in on an active struggle for the future of Lexington and University Ave where The Wilder Foundation and developer Alatus are trying to force through a luxury development over the protest of neighbors. We make connections between this "Lexington Station" development and the Upper Harbor Terminal and build on our efforts towards a pro-working class vision for development.
