Monster, Not Munster (Airdate 11/1/2021)
it's always a terrible idea to murder your spouse. It's messy, complicated, selfish, and evil. Odds are, you won't get away with it - especially in this era of DNA and forensic science. If you're still thinking of giving it a go, you're definitely gonna need a great alibi - and someone else to accuse. Cindy Schulz-Juedes lacked the great alibi but she had one heck of a wild suspect to offer up to the cops: the actor who played boy werewolf Eddie on the legendary 1960's sitcom, The Munsters. It took 6 years for the news that he'd been accused of murder to reach actor Butch Patrick Lilley. Last week he took the stand in Wisconsin in a bizarre case of murder-for-hire that wasn't. A jury found the wife guilty of killing her husband to cash in on his life insurance. It was a beautiful full-circle moment for Butch Patrick Lilley. Just as The Munsters taught us that you can look like a monster but be a good neighbor, this case proves once again that monstrous acts often wear pleasant, everyday sort of faces. (Side note: as you might imagine, this was not fun for Bob. Next time we'll leave him home hahaha)
The Bob & Sheri Oddcast: Everything We Don’t, Can’t, Won’t, and Definitely Shouldn’t Do on the Show!
