So how can we face the giant of self-pity…and win? That’s where we’re headed next on Moody Presents, with Dr. Mark Jobe, president of the Moody Bible institute. Just like you—I sometimes find myself in what Mark calls the “valley of disappointment.” Can you relate to that? Joseph certainly could. His life was a strange sequence of good moments…and bad moments…followed by good moments…and more bad moments. ​Dare to Dream, a brand new ​message series on the life of Joseph, started off with a bang last Friday. For anybody who might have missed our opening message, we're going to back up just a bit and invite you into the book of Genesis 39, so you don't miss a thing. Pastor Mark Jobe calls them "hijackers"—dangerous forces demanding control of our lives. One of those hijackers is temptation. The good news is, God always provides a way out, as Joseph's life illustrates so well.
