Moody Presents

In Christ we are made new!  Do you struggle with placing your full faith in God?  Perhaps the baggage of the past is weighing you down and keeping you from fruitful ministry.  You must join us for the next Moody Presents with our teacher Dr. Joe Stowell as he moves to the life of Jesus and the gospel of Matthew to help solve your identity crisis!

It is a marvel that we are loved by God.  According to our speaker, Dr. Michael Easley, we deserve none of what our God gives us.  We will go to often overlooked pages of Hosea for important application on love offered to us and how we should love those around us.  Join us for part one of this important series.

How do you react when you encounter a trial in your life?  Where should you turn for help?  Join us for part 2 of a very important message to help you with problems that we all face.  Unexpected trials.  On the next Moody Presents.

Problems, we’ve all got them.   When we react to our seemingly bad situation do we use it as a training tool in our life or an opportunity to complain.  It is time to hear from Dr. George Sweeting, former president of the Moody Bible Institute as he brings a powerful two part message serious on turning our trials into triumphs.  Join us for Moody Presents!

Welcome back to Moody Presents, the weekly Bible teaching program coming to you from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.  Our undergraduate and graduate school is back in session where students are actively learning God's Word.  It is an exciting and enriching time and we hope you will pray for them as they gain the knowledge needed to minister in our world.  We would like to let you in on a bit of that learning in part two of a message as relevant today as when it was delivered some 50 years ago by then MBI president, Dr. William Culbertson.  We were only able to learn of two spiritual weapons needed to ward off the enemy, let's get right back to the message to learn more.

With all that is going on in the world how can we be hopeful?  We encourage you to take time to listen to today's program with our teacher, the late Dr. William Culbertson, 5th president of the Moody Bible Institute.  An amazing two-part series that we will bring you this week and next regarding the weapons needed to ward off the enemy.  These are not physical weapons, mind you, but spiritual and we will go right to God's Word to find them.  Join us!

We join Dr. Sweeting for part two of a very powerful message that is as sobering as it is encouraging.  You will hear a very long list of those who have gone before us that did not remain true to the work of Jesus Christ.  However, as you will hear in today's message from 2nd Timothy there is much encouragment to stay the course and be one of God's own approved workers!

Often and easily we chase human approval in what we do.  We want people to like us and to affirm us, but as we'll find out over the next two weeks this is not a perspective with which we should be concerned.  Join us for a study of 2 Timonthy 2 as we learn about young Timothy and whose approval we should seek.  And how!

How can words be living?  How can God be the Word?  How did the Word become flesh?  Answers to these questions are found in the pages of the Bible, John chapter 1, yet even after several reads it can be confusing.  Join us as we continue our study of this familiar and very important subject with this week's teacher, Dr. Michael Easley.  Afterall, as Michael says, "Don't let the world teach you theology, let the Bible and the Holy Spirit do that."  Let's study it together on the next Moody Presents!

If you've spent anytime studying your Bible in the first chapter of the book of John you'll noticed there are many references to "the Word" referring to many different aspects of God.  Get ready for a greater understanding of this familiar passage with truths that will help you take the next step in your understanding of Scripture.
