Moody Presents

Integrity, it's about as common these days as 8-track tapes or black and white TV's, yet integrity is the high calling of every Christ follower and trait that we must study in-depth on today's Moody Presents. Join our teacher, Dr. Paul Nyquist as we move to Genesis 39 in our Life of Joseph series where we understand that living a life absent of integrity will have huge ramifications for our ministry and the church. So, how do we know if we lack these character qualities? We study the Old Testament of course! On this episode of Moody Presents.

His name appears more frequently on more pages of the Bible than any other Old Testament figure. Can you name him? That's right, Joseph! We'll continue our teaching series featuring the Life of Joseph right here on Moody Presents but first we must set the scene for this important program. You'll recall from our study so far that Joseph was falsely accused and thrown into prison by the King's wife, while there he meets the cupbearer and the King's own baker. Suddenly Joseph is thrust into a brand new situation that requires him to interpret a very intense dream. We'll learn more as Dr. Nyquist relays all of this by means of a dramatic sketch in which we see the events of Joseph play out through the eyes of a fictional character called Atamu. Lessons for life from the life of Joseph on this episode of Moody Presents.

Setting the stage is important this week as we are in part two of a message from the life of Elijah, the prophet in the book of I Kings 21. Last week, we heard and understood "Scene 1," if you will, where injustice prevailed related to a vineyard. Today, Dr. Nyquist will bring us "Scene 2" where we will be able to learn more about this important biblical story and receive application during a very important season for our country and our world.

Our Life of Elijah series certainly has been a captivating look at an Old Testament prophet with such amazing ties to our life as Christians today. As we continue our story, Dr. Nyquist will take us to I Kings 21, where we witness injustice related to property dealings and how that directly connects to how we must treat injustice today. Join us for this episode of Moody Presents.

What do you do when your plans go bust? When you realize things aren't turning out as you expect, where do you turn? Join Dr. Paul Nyquist as he teaches us from 1st Kings 18 on what to do when your ministry plans go bust.
