In our MORE Talk interview Timo Salzsieder, CEO of METRONOM, talks about the cultural change within the IT company of METRO. He is convinced: "Only motivated employees and self-organized teams make good products". METRONOM has also made progress in terms of IT strategy, especially in the areas of standardization and simplification. In the coming months, the main focus will be on the further digital transformation of the business processes. In addition, METRONOM is increasingly working on the future topics of information technology.

Klemens Gaida is an ICT engineer and holds a PhD in Mobile Communication Systems. After working as a partner at an ICT management consultancy and as a senior innovation manager at Vodafone, he founded the startup incubator 1stMOVER in Düsseldorf in 2009. Up to now, a dozen start-ups have been developed from the incubator. At the same time, 1stMOVER advises well-known companies on the topics of Digital Innovation & Transformation. Since October 2016, Klemens Gaida has also been Managing Director of digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland - a regional innovation center & accelerator for start-ups, SMEs, universities and large companies.

What does Grizzly Snacks? The start-up produces food in Germany according to its own recipes without flavour enhancers, conservatives, colourings or other additives - first product: Beef Jerky. Before Julius entered the start-up business, he worked as a sales manager in an international steel company. Julius will tell us on Tuesday what pushed him from steel to snacks!
