In this episode. I share 3 CRAZY stories of when I was doubted by others and how I used those experiences shape my life.
We go into my favorite strategies for overcoming doubt:
Doubt doesn’t have to defeat you. It can refine you. It can redirect you. And most of all, it can remind you that you’re capable of more than you or anyone expected.

There’s a big difference between being lazy and knowing when to rest. Rest doesn’t mean regression it means recovery. And recovery is part of the work.
In this episode, I talk about how learning to hold back is actually a skill. Just like pushing through discomfort is a skill. Both change the way you show up.
I talk about:
Recovery is not being broken. It’s about processing, restoring, and building the muscle of readiness. Learn the language of your body so you show up better.

In this episode we review the idea that If you are properly rehearsed you are prepared. One of the most valuable skills a dancer has is the fact that we can rehearse and rehearse and prepare. When you take that same idea into your life, you realize you can run a mental rehearsal before big decisions, big changes, or even starting a new activity like dance class.
When you’re adding something new into your life... like getting a puppy... you can put it through a mental tech week. You imagine what it looks like to live with the puppy, how he shifts your routine, and how you’d manage it. That’s what rehearsal gives you: practice, preparation, and control.
Rehearsing builds readiness and when you’ve rehearsed the unexpected feels better.

The way dancers show up on stage is the way we get to show up for ourselves in real life. When you can consistently show up for yourself, there are going to be a lot of holes in your life that will eventually get filled in.
Think about your goals and your intentions and what it will take to get you there. Usually its a series of doing something with consistency, staying disciplined, and showing up even when you don't feel like it.
So when you take inventory of your life and you think, "I'm not where I thought I would be" you can ask the really hard question of "Did I stay on my path," "Did I show up for myself when I didn't want to?"
Sometimes we get distracted by the present moment and make choices off of whats in front of us, what feels easier, or what feels more fun.
Use this episode to figure out how you can still be "you" AND do what you have planned.
PS episode was recorded in June... I know its Fall now.

We act a different way when we dress a certain way. what you wear affects how to show up for yourself. I take you through a flashback of when I first came to realize the importance of what you wear. What if I told you that once you start wearing the outfit and dressing the part you will become the part.
We talk about body image and self esteem and how the costume can become part of you and allow you to stop hiding yourself.
Dress the part and learn to love yourself where you are - take yourself and your growth seriously and start seeing the results and the confidence you crave!

This is part two of our Interruptions series, and today we’re diving into detours. The unexpected reroutes that can feel like setbacks and often end up shaping us in better ways.
On stage and in life, detours test our patience, and dancers know this: the show must go on. And sometimes, what feels like the wrong turn ends up being the divine one.
In this episode, I share:
Detours may look like delays, and they’re often divine disruptions. They invite you to surrender, trust, and create something richer than what you originally planned.
