Today's episode is all about transitions. We delve into how change, whether anticipated or unexpected, can shape our lives in profound ways.
Pamela shares the deeply personal story of her and her husband’s four-year journey to renovate their first home after 43 years of marriage. What started as a simple project turned into an arduous, yet ultimately rewarding, process that taught them invaluable lessons about perseverance, patience, and the importance of finishing what they started. This renovation became more than just a physical transformation—it became a symbol of God’s faithfulness in their marriage and lives.
Meanwhile, Mary opens up about her family’s upcoming move from Kansas City to North Carolina. Reflecting on the challenges and emotions of leaving behind a decade of memories and community, she discusses how this transition, while bittersweet, is also filled with excitement and a deep sense of purpose. Mary shares her insights on finding peace and rhythm in the midst of change, rather than waiting for everything to settle down, and how to trust in the journey even when the destination isn’t clear.
Join us as we remind you that even in the midst of transition, you are never alone, and there is always hope to be found!!

As August begins, many of us find ourselves in the whirlwind of life—kids starting school and routines going haywire. It's the perfect time to pause, reflect, and jump into this next season.
In today's episode we are naming what's been life giving for us in this past season.
We started this reflection back in March, aiming to do it every quarter. By doing so, we can move forward, bringing the lessons from these moments into our future.
Hey guys, welcome back to the More Than Enough podcast. It's the last Tuesday in July, and as of this recording, we're gearing up for a significant move back to North Carolina. Our family is excited about this new adventure, even though it's a huge transition for all of us.
Today, we are wrapping up our Summer of Psalms series with a psalm that feels like the culmination of everything we've explored over the past weeks and that's Psalm 139.
As we conclude our Summer of Psalms series, we invite you to meditate on Psalm 139 and other familiar Scriptures. Ask the Lord to reveal deep truths, to show you areas of unbelief, and to cultivate a seamless integration of your faith into every aspect of your life. Take Psalm 139’s closing prayer as a call to continual reflection:
"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts… see if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting."

Today, we’re continuing our Summer of Psalms series with Psalm 103. This psalm is all about mercy and compassion, and it’s a beautiful reminder of God’s loving kindness.
As we read through this psalm, it’s a powerful reminder to remember God’s mercy and faithfulness, and to give Him praise. It’s easy to get caught up in the worries of life, but pausing to remember and praise God for His goodness can transform our perspective!
Sometimes, we can struggle with pausing to remember God’s faithfulness. We are such a forgetful people, and it’s amazing how recalling God’s goodness can fill us with such joy and gratitude and yet at times it can feel almost impossible. But remembering and thinking on His mercies and kindness is one of the main ways He anchors us in truth, even when life feels out of control!! We invite you to take a moment to pause this week and to think on and mediate on the goodness and faithfulness of God in your own life!

In today's episode we read and discuss Psalm 91. Often referred to as the "Psalm of Protection."
The very first verse sets the tone, promising rest in the shadow of the Almighty WHEN we dwell in the shelter of the Most High. This chapter reminds us that it is ONLY in his presence that we will find our peace and rest.
It is so easy to get lost in a million other things and then we find ourselves stumbling in the darkness overwhelmed and overcome. But this Psalm reminds us again that He alone is our safe refuge and our light in the darkness. And that His peace and His rest is the only thing that can sustain our hearts in the midst of the ongoing heaviness and weariness we are all experiencing.

This summer, we have been taking some time to reflect on the Psalms each week. We've carefully selected eight Psalms, and today we're focusing on Psalm 77.
If you haven't done so already, I encourage you to read through Psalm 77. The raw emotion and sincerity of the words are both comforting and humbling.
There's a beautiful vulnerability in admitting our struggles and sorrows openly before God. Just last week, I found myself in a Psalm 77 moment, overwhelmed with grief. Everything felt like a 10 out of 10 in intensity, and I could hear God inviting me to weep and grieve fully. In those moments, I didn’t give any disclaimers; I just let my guard down and poured out every emotion before Him.
God, in His kindness, gently reminded me to recount what's true. This aligns so perfectly with our theme today – the great exchange. The idea is that we bring our pain to God, and He, in turn, transforms it. This mirrors the meaning of baptism: going into the water one way and emerging renewed. We must not skip this process. Acknowledging our pain is essential; only then can true healing begin!

In today's episode we are reflecting on Psalm 62.
It's tempting to seek out others for comfort or validation, to vent or process our struggles with friends and family. And while community is important, Psalm 62 reminds us that our core identity and peace come not from human affirmation but from God's unwavering love and who HE says we are.
In a world full of voices trying to define who we should be and what we should seek, remembering that my identity is rooted in God's perception and purpose for me is what anchors my anxious heart and steadies my soul.

Today we are mediating on Psalm 43, which reminds us that "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." No matter the chaos or fear, God's presence provides an anchoring peace.
Do we really believe that God is our real and present help in time of trouble?
The fact is that God is ready and right there with you. God is ready to assist us and we don't have to do anything but just cry out his name. Can we really trust that the Lord will meet us in our moments of need? What if it looks different than we think?
We encourage you to invite God in this week as you meditate on this Psalm, ask God what He’s saying to you, and to reveal His nearness to you today.

We are continuing our Summer of Psalms, and today we’re diving into one of our favorites—Psalm 33. If you want to start from the beginning, you can go back to our first post in June. Today, we reflect on Psalm 33, looking at its timeless truths and finding a moment to pause as we meditate on its meaning.
As we weave through life’s challenges, it can be easy to put our hope in tangible things—strategies, plans, and even people. But this scripture calls us to shift our trust toward God, acknowledging that He alone is our deliverer. This concept can be incredibly difficult, especially for us practical souls who like to plan and strategize. But life teaches us that relying on God is TRULY the only place that brings true peace.
We often talk about the importance of pausing—taking a step back to connect with God, especially during anxious moments. Psalm 33 echoes this need for reflection and trust. "Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help, and He is our shield."
As we wrap up, we encourage you to spend some time with Psalm 33 this week. Reflect on its truths, and let them bring you peace and encouragement. Remember, God’s counsel stands firm, His plans extend from generation to generation, and His loving-kindness is ever-present.
