Postpartum depression or PPD is a common complication of childbearing that impacts more than a million women per year. Like so many mental health conditions, PPD can be hard to spot and is clouded by a sense of shame and stigma that keeps women from seeking the support they need. It’s why healthcare providers and educators like our guests are working to improve access to care, and to develop new treatments for PPD.
