This week's winning thought is: Leverage the power of compounding. Massive results are often the result of small, imperceptible improvements stacked on one another over time. Make the small sustainable changes within your power to make. Be patient and make them consistently. Time will do the rest.

This week's winning thought is: Don't compare yourself to others. Only focus on what you do. Comparing yourself to others only inflates your ego or makes you feel like crap. Holding yourself to your own standards and making them higher than other people's is a formula for success. If you succeed, ask yourself how much further you want to go. If you fail, ask yourself if you lived up to your own standards because that's all that matters.

This week's winning thought is: Put your day up for review. Ask yourself every day: 'What could I have done better?' 'Where did I fall short?' 'Who do I want to be?' 'Was I that person today?' Evaluate yourself. Interrogate yourself. That's how you get better.

How are you talking to clients about mortgage rates and home loans right now? With the real estate market in a state of flux, home buyers/sellers and real estate agents alike have questions. Brian Swanson, branch manager and mortgage professional of Inlanta Mortgage in West Des Moines, IA, joins Angela to talk about the state of the home loan industry right now.
In this episode, we discuss what's changed this year and how interest rate flux has impacted buyers, the pros and cons of ARMs and other home loan options, advice to sellers regarding refinancing and bridge loans, what to expect with appraisals and timelines, and Brian's predictions for what we can expect for the rest of 2022.
Angela references a home loans, grants, and downpayment assistance resource for our agents. That can be found here.
This week's winning thought is: Always grab the smooth handle. Every event has two handles: one by which it can be carried and one by which it can't. If your brother does you wrong, don't grab it by his wrongdoing because this is the handle incapable of listening. Instead, use the other handle - that he's your brother and you were raised together. Then you will have hold of a handle that carries.

This week's winning thought is: You have the power to have no opinion. It's not things that upset us, but our opinions about things. Control your opinions. See things objectively and withdrawing judgment from them will free you to act decisively with clarity on the things in your life that deserve your opinion.
