Steve Lipman (@SteveJLipman) from Liberty Ballers and the Gastroenteritis Blues podcast is back on to remind us that time is a flat circle and Ben Simmons is still a Sixer. We reviewed Daryl Morey’s first year as Sixers GM where he made some good moves, some “almost” moves that drive us nuts, while also providing a lack of creativity and possibly overvaluing Ben Simmons’ trade value. Next we dove into the mysterious case of the December 15th Woj Bomb that came and went with no explanation. We also gave our opinions (that constantly change every week) on Kings guard De'Aaron Fox coming to Philadelphia in a trade after Brian Windhorst said he’s available. We also discussed the return of Kyrie Irving which destroyed Trill’s conspiracy theory from last week’s podcast. Lastly we touched on Bill Simmons “apology” for the infamous racist Joel Embiid impression by Jackie Mac that Trill posted to Twitter. Keep in mind we recorded this on Monday before Joel Embiid destroyed Freedom and the Celtics.
