North Dakota Tourism Director Sara Otte Coleman joined Bonnie and Doug to talk summer tourism.  The Canadian border is still closed but she thinks it'll be a great tourism season with plenty of things to see and do from taking in beautiful scenery, to hiking, camping, fishing, shopping, festivals and more.  Make sure you check out the North Dakota Tourism Department which has a lot of great information to help get your started on planning your North Dakota vacation.

FRIDAY-RED RIVER VALLEY SPEEDWAY HALL OF FAME NIGHT AND DAKOTA CAT MOD SHOOTOUT

Ryan Restad scored his third straight Sportmod feature win to start the night.  Then it was Tye Wilke winning in the Legends.  Trent Grager got his third win in the Stock Cars.  Tanner Engen got the win and took over the point lead in the Hobby Stocks.  Brandon Rekow scored his second win in the Racesaver Sprints.  Then Matt Aukland rounded out the night with the Dakota Cat Mod Shootout win.

SATURDAY-JAMESTOWN SPEEDWAY REBEL MIDWEST MODIFIED TOUR

Joey Banish took the win in the Slingshot feature.  Then it was Paul Morman getting his 3rd straight Bomber win.  “The Nightmare” Lucas Rodin dominated the Midwest Modified feature.  Ryan Braseth survived a late race wreck to win in the Legends.  And Kollin Hibdon ran away with the Modified main event.

SUNDAY

Rain canceled the whole day for the Buffalo River Speedway, Sheyenne Speedway, and the WeeTown Outlaw Speedway.

BIG WINNERS: Jayden Ambuehl, Jackson Balderas, Ryder McGough, Regan Reinke, Cayden Wescott, Kyle VanMil, and the Stevenator.

THURSDAY-NORMAN COUNTY RACEWAY 125TH NORMAN COUNTY FAIR #ADANATIONALS

Matt Pederson won the Bang Banger feature.  He was followed by Rich Pavlicek with his Sportmod win.  Trent Grager won with a late race pass in the Stock Cars.  Mike Greseth took the win in the NLRA Late Models.  And Trevor Serbus was the winner in the Racesaver Sprint Cars.

NASCAR

Kyle Larson dominated in Nashville for his 4th win of the year moving him just 10 points behind Denny Hamlin.  The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Pocono for a Saturday/Sunday double-header.

SCHATZ WATCH

Friday June 18th at the Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway, Donny Schatz became only the 3rd World of Outlaws driver to record his 300th.  Schatz is 3rd on the career wins list behind Steve Kinser who has 690 wins, and Sammy Swindell who has 394.
