J.J. is going to be selling food at the RedHawks stadium in a friendly competition with Mark J. FRIDAY, JUNE 4TH-RED RIVER VALLEY SPEEDWAY

Defending track champion Brodee Eckerdt led the night off with his win in the Hobby Stocks.  Then Ty Hanten became the first repeat RaceSaver Sprint winner.  Ryan Restad grabbed his first Sportmod win of the year next.  Then Kalvin Kesselberg got his first ever RRVS win in the Stock Cars.  And as the Checkers flew for Jamie Schultz in the Modifieds, the wind picked up and the storm came in ending the night befote we could get the Lightning Sprint main event in.

SATURDAY, JUNE 5TH-JAMESTOWN SPEEDWAY

Tripp Nelson was the winner in the Slingshots, then it was Paul Morman getting his first win in the Bombers, Jaren Wibstad won in the Midwest Mods, Donavin Weist in the Legends, Bob Banish JR in the Street Stocks, and 66 years young Johnny Corell won in the Modifieds.

SUNDAY, JUNE 6TH-BUFFALO RIVER SPEEDWAY

Chase Peterson picked up his first BRS win.  He was follower in wins by Alan Truscinski who claimed a $320 bounty in the Lightning Sprints, John Current in the Short Trackers, Chris Vanmil in the Sportmods, and rounding out the night, Ryan Mikkelson made some great moves in traffic to win the Late Model main event over Joey Pederson and Donny Schatz.

MONDAY, JUNE 7TH-RED RIVER KART CLUB

Winners before the rains hit were: Dalton Babcock and Jayden Ambuehl in the Novice Class,Hunter Veralrud in the Rookies, Henry Beitelspacher in the Rookie 2s, Kyle Vanmil in the 206 Blue Slide , Alex Clark in the 206 Black Slide, and Jake Haugeberg in the Adult Stock Class.

THURSDAY, JUNE 10TH-NORMAN COUNTY RACEWAY

Rich Pavlicek got his first win of the year in the Sport Mods.  Tye Wilke was next to win in the Legends.  Then it was “Stone Cold” Brad Orvedal narrowly won in the Hobby Stocks. Ty Hanten ran away with the Racesaver Sprint Feature.  Then Todd Heinrich won in the Stock Cars

NASCAR

Kyle Larson dominated in Sonoma, CA Sunday for his 3rd win of the year moving him just 47 points out of the lead which is still held by the winless Denny Hamlin.  The NASCAR Cup Series will be at the Texas Motor Speedway for the All-Star race Sunday.

SCHATZ WATCH

River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks rained out Friday night, so the Outlaws went down the road to the Granite City Motor Park in Sauk Rapids, MN which was won by David Gravel with Schatz coming in second.  The Outlaws spend the weekend in Knoxville, IA (AKA Schatzville).

Kathy and Tom from Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton stopped in with George the Tarantula to educate us about Tarantula's and spiders.  We also talked about wild animals and how you should just leave them alone instead of trying to rescue or feed them, or give them water.  You can support the zoo by visiting, scheduling a Behind the,  Scenes Tour, or buying a membership.

The Red River Valley Fair is July 9th-18th.  Chris Young, Styx, Skillet, Quiet Riot, and Renegade Monster Trucks are some of the grandstand headliners this year.  You'll have to buy a ticket for the grandstand entertainment this year and you can buy your tickets now!  Last year's event had to be canceled due the pandemic.  General Mgr. Cody Cashman says this year's fair will be bigger and better than ever with 10 days of fun, food, animals, rides, concerts and more.
