"Mortal Kombat II" has been delayed from its original October 2025 release date to May 15, 2026. The sequel to the 2021 reboot will introduce Karl Urban as Johnny Cage, alongside new characters Kitana (Adeline Rudolph), Jade (Tati Gabrielle), Shao Khan (Martyn Ford), and Baraka (CJ Bloomfield). New Line hopes the mid-May release will replicate the box office success of "Final Destination: Bloodlines."
