Revelation 7:9-12, Matthew 6:10

(this is our first-ever sermon!)

What's your story? How do you tell other people who you are and where you come from? How do you share all the ups and downs of life? Today we talked about knowing your story in light of the bigger over-arching story.  Lorenz shared his personal story and we walked thru ways we can intentionally share our story and faith with others.

And for your encouragement...

"Evangelism is joining a conversation the Holy Spirit is already having with another person.”    - Darryl Johnson

"Evangelism is one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread."   -DT Niles

This week we discussed Jemar Tisby's book :

The Color of Compromise: The Truth about the American Church’s Complicity in Racism

We love this book and pretty much anything Jemar puts out, so we highly recommend you grab a copy, read it, review it, and share it.

Then let's get together and discuss it!

Today's discussion was led by Malcolm Foley.

If you haven't read this phenomenal book, please go grab it!

"Missions is conceived as something to which the church donates money, not something it actually engages in. Thus, the tools of the Holy Spirit grow rusty, held back by an inert missional culture."

We covered Parts 1&2 of Doug Logan's On The Block to think thru how God is calling everyone of us on mission.  Doug has a passion for the church to see its 'sentness' and how this sent ness flows from and out of the implications of the Great Commission.

This Sunday we answered the Question: What's a Worship Service at Mosaic look like? Rather than just discuss it, we worshipped!

This is the sermon from the time.

And HERE is the order/flow of the service.

What are our networks? Who's in our corner and who's corner are we in?

In this core-team discussion we talked about our denominational affiliation and Acts 29.
