Moser, Lombardi and Kane

0:00 - Yesterday, the Nuggets parted ways with both Michael Malone and Calvin Booth. The news broke about an hour after our show wrapped up. How are we feeling about the decision today after having a few hours to process?

17:28 - Vic had a chance to interview Josh Kroenke yesterday after the decision came down. What was Josh's reason for making such a shocking decision 3 games before the playoffs?

36:02 - Obviously, Nuggets fans have LOTS to get off their chests this morning. Let's fire up the phones and see how everyone's feeling.

It's time to finally crown a champion of the 2025 Drop Tournament. It's been a long and hard-fought battle, but only one drop can stand alone atop the mountain. Who will it be?

Then, let's take a look back at every valliant competitor who patrook in this most prestigious tournament with our very own One Shining Moment recap.

Author's note? Producer's note? I put One Shining Moment in here twice: the first time is how it aired on our show today. It has all of our reactions and laughter, exactly as our listeners heard it this morning. Then, I added the song by itself with no reactions. Just the raw audio file of my "Magnum Opus" as Vic called it. 64 drops in all their glory to the sweet sounds of Luther Vandross.

Enjoy! Thanks everyone for participating in another successful Drop Tournament!

0:00 - Last night's episode of the Landeskog Docuseries shed some light on the emotional toll of his injury and recovery. We've focused so much on the physical that we didn't think about the emotional.

14:53 - The Avalanche are on a collision course to face the Stars in the first round. Accept it! Embrace it! The Stars have haunted you for years. We're still traumatized by the Bubble. So face them in the first round and whoop their butts!

35:51 - It's finally time to crown a winner of the 2025 Drop Tournament. Then, let's take a look back at every drop who competed with the hopes of earning their One Shining Moment.

0:00 - Who do the Nuggets want to face in the first round of the playoffs? Should they hope for a good matchup? Or do they need to face Minnesota and exorcise their demons?

17:09 - There's ANOTHER Mission Impossible movie? Maybe these missions weren't so impossible after all. How many of these dang things can Tom Cruise make?

33:41 - Do you want to enjoy a Masters Dinner at home? (if you're like Moser and can't get an invite to Augusta) You're in luck! You can have a copy of the dinner shipped to your home.

0:00 - The Florida Gators are basketball champs once again! They earned their One Shining Moment last night. With that in mind, let's get to the championship of our Drop Tournament: (4) Gabe Landeskog brings all the milkshakes to the yard vs. Butter my butt and call me a biscuit!

15:58 - We got the next episode of the Gabe Landeskog documentary last night. It showed an extremely emotional Gabe inside Ball Arena who didn't know how the fans would receive him during the Avs home opener. It sheds light on something Brett's been saying about Gabe for months now.

35:27 - Brett yearns for a simpler time in Western Society... Then, the Avs are locked into their playoff seed. Their opponent might change, but that's it. Should they consider resting guys down the stretch?

0:00 - 10 days ago, the Denver Nuggets were the 2 seed in the West. Now, they've slid down to the 4 seed and could be a play-in team before we know it. That's insane. How the Mighty have fallen.

15:48 - Gabe Landeskog couldn't put any dead guy's cartilage in his body. He had to find a compatible dead guy. When you have a transplant, do you receive the abilities of the person whose organ it is? If I get a liver transplant from a former Olympic athlete, am I gonna run super fast now?

34:58 - Chase Dollanger made his big league debut with the Rockies yesterday. The Rockies told him they were calling him up from the minors in a very...unique way, shall we say?

0:00 - We don't like being negative about the Nuggets! We miss feeling optimistic about them! But we don't have any reason to expect they'll be a different team in the playoffs.

15:54 - March Madness doesn't have the same allure it once did. Moser and Vic barely know anyone playing in the tournament right now, but they can name the Phi Slamma Jamma roster off the top of their heads (mostly).

32:26 - We sound like a broken record, but the Avs seeding won't change. They're locked in. That's why we keep shrugging our shoulders after losses. What CAN change is their opponent. Will they face Winnipeg or Dallas?

0:00 - The Nuggets are in quicksand right now. Plain and simple. They're sinking, and the more they struggle, the worse it gets.

16:51 - The Vibes are off with the Nuggets right now. Everything they do feels like an incredible struggle. Do we still believe they can "turn it on" in the playoffs?

34:51 - The Avalanche lost to the Blues this weekend and it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. It would've been nice to end STL's 11-game winning streak (which is now 12 after beating the Avs) but it's fine. The Avs are still licking their chops waiting for the playoffs to arrive.

The National Championship game is set in our 2025 Drop Tournament! Who's moving on with a chance to claim the ultimate crown?

0:00 - Everyone's favorite NFL team the Colorado Avalanche won a game 7-3 yesterday. That's a Thursday Night Football final score if I've ever seen it.

15:56 - Jenny Cavnar, PxP Voice of the Las Vegas Athletics of Sacramento via Oakland, is back in her old stomping groups for the Rockies Home Opener! We asked her how she's preparing to call a good ol' fashioned frigid Rockies early season game & what it's like calling games for a team with no permanent home and no identity.

37:12 - Who's moving on to the National Championship game of our drop tournament? Then, it's time for our favorite part of the week DRUNK TAKESSSSSSS
