More Broncos talk, getting ready to open the preseason

Vic and Berto talk Broncos best all-time defenses and looks forward to the game vs SF

0:00 - The Broncos are in Santa Clara to practice with the Niners today! What is our Broncos expert Jeff Legwold expecting to see in joint practice & the preseason game on Saturday?

12:29 - John-Michael Liles called us on the phone to discuss the Avalanche Alumni game coming up at the end of the month...while biking up a mountain in Vail.

29:25 - Stick shifts are a dying breed. Who uses those things anymore?

0:00 - Sean Payton released the first depth chart of the year and guess what...all the rookies are last again! I'm shocked! This is my shocked face!

13:31 - The Jaguars listed Travis Hunter at both WR and CB on the depth chart. Looks like they actually wanna try playing him both ways!

30:58 - Sorry, Canada. Hockey is ours. We took it, according to Vic.

0:00 - The Rockies gave up 45 RUNS to the Blue Jays in 3 GAMES. They allowed 63 HITS. They're out here making history YET AGAIN for all the wrong reasons.
Are we mad? Depressed? Apathetic? Can anything enact REAL CHANGE at 20th and Blake?

17:29 - The Seattle Kraken mascot almost got GOT by a grizzly in Alaska. After that, the Broncos are in SF today for their first joint practice with the Niners. Are we gonna see any fights in camp? Do you like it when things get chippy out there on the practice field?

33:24 - How good will the Avs be next season? What are reasonable expectations for next year?

0:00 - Is Bo Nix a PHONY? Is he corny? Is DMac onto something? What makes an athlete a "phony?" What makes someone corny?

12:29 - Yet ANOTHER example of someone throwing a...marital aid on the court during a WNBA game. Let's get back to football, shall we? Are we going to learn anything from the Broncos vs Niners joint practices and preseason game? Any expectations?

31:12 - It finally happened. Vic Lombardi is officially anti-Banana. Savannah or otherwise. Bananas ACROSS THE BOARD. Next, how much does a Bo Nix shirt cost? Is it worth buying?

0:00 - Red Zone is officially headed to ESPN! If they're smart, they won't change anything. Let's see how smart ESPN really is.

18:22 - If he leaves the Cowboys...where's Micah Parsons headed? Plenty of teams would take his services!

30:58 - He started a YouTube channel. He's posting workout videos. He's selling SHIRTS ONLINE?? Is Bo Nix a phony? Has he officially crossed into phony territory? DMac certainly thinks so. He hit the phones, joined our show, and immediately got on his soapbox.

0:00 - Shocker...Marc Moser didn't do his homework last night. Go figure! He didn't watch the first episode of Hard Knocks last night.

16:31 - Sean Payton loves Bo Nix and it made him leave a weird voicemail for Dianna Russini.

36:00 - RIP Smelling Salts in the NFL. I'm sure this discussion will only revolve around smelling salts, and not immediately fly off the rails...

0:00 - What do we need to see from the Broncos in the first preseason game? Which players will we be watching?

16:12 - CBS Sports compiled a list of the 25 worst NFL trades in last 25 years. #1 on the list was Deshaun Watson to the Browns. #2? Russell Wilson to the Broncos. Look at how differently both teams have fared since then. The Browns have about 50 QBs on the roster and can't find stability, while the Broncos are a playoff team that's still trending upward.

32:48 - Should Bo Nix play in the preseason games? What would you want to see from him if he suits up? How much should he play?

0:00 - The Rockies are back to their losing way, and yesterday's loss officially clinched YET ANOTHER losing season for them. Can their ownership group ever turn this team around? Look at how the Broncos rebounded from the 9-year Super Bowl hangover. That required an ownership change.

16:31 - Sean Payton said the starters will play in preseason game #1 vs the Niners. He didn't specify which starters and how long they'll play. Do we want to see any starters out there? What can we learn from a preseason game?

31:14 - Over the weekend, Vic had a chance to sit down with Broncos punter Jeremy Crawshaw. He's from Australia and played college football at Florida. He may be the most interesting man in the world. Also, he does a killer southern accent.
