With Chris out of town, MatcoMan Brian sits in as Ray's co-host. What do they talk about...buying cheap vs quality tools, rebuilding air-powered tools, and tool truck maintenance of course. A caller reports on his Honda Hybrid with concerns about repairs down the road, then it's back to parts talk again, with stock vs aftermarket offerings considered. Ray can't help but ask Brian about his ongoing 66 Mustang project.

Ray rants about how people tie down cargo on their car roofs and wonder why they can't do this easy task correctly. Recharging a cars A/C at home leads to the question of whether it's better to drive with windows up or down for better MPG. A caller talks about his crappy Honda while another gets quizzed by Ray when its learned he has a '55 Chevy project car.

A caller talks about available options when buying a Hybrid vehicle, then Chris continues his anti-Holley carburetor campaign. The boys try to sort out the issues he's having with a mild acceleration stumble, and when Ray has enough he turns the table and talks about tuning the Hollry Sniper he's installed in his car. The specifics of doing a compression test round out the hour.

Chris finds an electrical problem in his old car the old fashioned way, then laments over the float adjustment in the same car. When the boys have had enough of the old school talk Ray brings the show into the fuel injection age with his Holley Sniper conversion. Chevy Cruze plastic cooling system parts come up, as do the special tools needed to work on these newer cars.

This show starts off hot and heavy with Chris' disdain for the Holley carburetor that's on his car. Ray & callers try to talk him off the ledge but he's not budging! Talk turns to ultrasonic cleaners for carb rebuilding, and how to replace a freeze out plug on a 57 Chevy. Ford's decision to keep AM radios in their cars rounds out the hour.

Chris describes an annoying miss his old Chrysler is having and the boys try to come up with a solution. Ray goes on a rant about how people revive old cars but don't do ANY maintenance before hitting the road, then shows Chris his new talent for making Weather Pack connections. Chris takes us out with a story about re-bending an ill-fitting transmission line.

Dave talks about his slick hidden headlight and grill conversion for C10 trucks, the compression syle throttle return spring, and the swing away steering column made for coupes & street rods.

Chris has closure with the weird brake pedal feel on his Tracker, but gets burned by frozen exhaust hardware on his Chrysler. Ray explains why he has to go back to move forward with his fuel injection conversion project.
