As we complete our Share series, we are brought to reflection on the reality that we are not saved by our good works, but rather for good works. God is our father and he has called us into the family business.

As wel looked at Acts 23:11 - we see that it takes courage to share your story, and reiterate that faithfulness is the win in sharing your story. We plant the seed and no work or word of God will go wasted.

As we look at Paul's testimony defense in Acts 22:1-21, we discover that his model of sharing his testimony can serve as an effective template for how we can undersatnd and share our own story.By answer the questions: Who was I before Jesus? How did Jesus change my life? Who am I now? And what does God continue to do through his work in me?

Acts 11:1-18 helps us to see that the Gospel of Jesus has no boundaries, but we do. Therefore… the way of Jesus is greater than our way.

We took a look at Acts 9:10-19, the aftermath of Paul's conversion. In the processes of looking at how God views us in our restored form, Didi concluded:"God saved me to be His child, He calls me to be in the family business through":Presence - I have to be close to GodProximity - I have to come near to the otherPatience - I have to put aside my prejudices

Philip's witness to the Ethiopian eunuch showed us that when we are sharing our faith we are to: 1 - Listen for the lead of God. 2 - Be genuinely interested in the person. 3 - Be patient in sharing Jesus. 4 - Ask for a commitment.

It's been said, "It's not how many times you get hit, but it's how many times you get hit and keep getting up." Sharing your faith is no different. Being fatihful no matter the circumstances or environment will ultimately determin the win of your witness.

We see in Acts 5:1-14 the false witness of Ananias and Sapphira before the members of the early church in regards to the value of their sold property. The gave consequences of their disception before he Lord did serve a purpose in showing others the importance of being authentic in what you say and do.

By looking at the testimony of Peter found in Acts 4, and by reflecting on the times that he failed to be bold in his faith, we see a pattern of transformation as he learns to trust God with the wholeness of his life.

God's story becomes our story at the moment of our conversion, but the story is not meant to end there. As we read in Acts 2:37-47, the response of the earliest followers of Jesus did not end at their baptism, but continued in continuous devotion to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and prayer. This week we look at what it means to be devoted to gathering together in communion and in prayer.
