The regular host of Bikepacker Radio, Neil Beltchenko, is the guest in this episode. Neil recently finished the very difficult 300-mile Arizona Trail Race in 49 hours and 20 minutes, beating the previous record and finishing 3rd place behind two blazing fast racers.

Listen in as Neil reflects on the entire race. He shares his thoughts about last year's AZT finish and his goals going into this year and recaps how his race unfolded. This episode of Bikepacker Radio is a great look into what it's like to race an unsupported multiday race at the front of the pack.

The BigLivers.com crew of Jeff, Pat, and Jonesy is back with another episode of The Big Livers Podcast straight from the Ozarks. In this episode, they try out two Deschutes beers - the River Ale and Chainbreaker White IPA.

The River Ale gets mixed reactions from the guys while the Chainbreaker gains some fans. The first taste of the Chainbreaker is a little rough, but it gets better with every drink. Overall, Jeff, Pat, and Jonesy find Deschutes to be worthy.

Watch for the upcoming blind taste test of light beers. They are going to have a little fun with beers like Miller 64 and similar low calorie beers. It will likely be a survival of the drinker who can tolerate the worst....stay tuned to an upcoming show!

Lessons were learned, debate was had, and Clara was thoroughly embarrassed this week on The Broken Spokes podcast! Friend of the show and women's cycling advocate, Dan W of the Unofficial Unsanctioned Women's UCI Cycling Podcast, joins the show. After Dan discusses the Australian meaning of "Double Down," he and Kyle thoroughly embarrass Clara. She tries her best to curtail Dan and Kyle but fails miserably.

Dan shares how he became interested in women's cycling, and reveals that he is an amazing uncle to his nieces. They discuss issues with podium women, equality in the sport, and the cultural changes that need to happen if we ever expect equality to be a reality. Then Clara hassles Cat 5 racers, Kyle gets a life altering lesson, and the trio discusses the slippery slope that happens when women start using their sexuality to further the sport. Kyle wraps up the show by (shockingly) teaching listeners about the differences between a man and woman's bike and Dan talks about hunting Kangaroos on the farm in Australia.

Olov and Lars discuss what it's like to live above the Arctic Circle and share how fatbikes have changed their riding in an area that has 6-7 months of pretty harsh winter.

Recently they visited the Icehotel and got a chance to speak with David, who is an Operation Supervisor with the Icehotel.
