Dr. Jim Walker is the Director of the Sports Science Program at Intermountain Medical Center. As the NCAA tournament gets underway in Salt Lake City many are wondering what impact the altitude could have on athletes who come from areas with lower elevations. Intermountain TOSH has a sports science department which can simulate both high and low altitude training for athletes.
