Brian Bourne has been a longtime supporter of local original music. In the early 2000’s, he and his partner Gerry Muccioli built the very successful Bel Air Bash at St. Margaret’s Church and from there he went on to form the well-known and loved local cover act, Under the Covers.
He’s been circling the Mid-Atlantic for the past decade or two and has had a lot of success doing it. One thing is for certain, if Brian Bourne is involved, it’s going to be a success. I’m happy to welcome my friend and fellow musician to the show, Mr. Brian Bourne.

Jimi Haha, otherwise known as Jimi Davies and occasionally as James Laughter is an Annapolis-based musician and the founder and creative director for Up.St.ART Magazine; he’s an artist, a father and, for lack of a better word, a legend in the Mid-Atlantic region.
He’s released countless albums, mainly under the bands Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, Jarflys and Mend the Hollow to name a few, but his roots go deeper than that. He’s a man whose worn a lot of hats and if his Re.Present album is any indication, perhaps a lot of faces in an attempt to reframe the world through his artistic lens.
His talent is unyielding and I couldn’t be happier to have him on the show, join me in welcoming THE Jimi Haha to The MOG!

John Amoriello has been on the Mouthful of Graffiti podcast twice, but we wanted to have him back to promote his new Old Man Jones album and show at Zen West on April 15th. The album, ‘Crashing Down’ is chock-full of ‘Blockbuster’ rock n’ roll anthems and has enough classic rock riffage to make The Spaceman blush. It may be a nod to the past but it’s here today to remind us that rock n’ roll has seen ‘Stranger Things’ and is alive and well. Join me in welcoming John Amoriello back to The MOG!

Reb Records have been spinnin’ the black circle since the summer of 2019. They got their start in one of the small business incubator locations behind the Bel Air Armory in Downtown Bel Air and have made a slow but steady ascent in the years that followed.
From barely having any walk-up traffic to having lines wrapped around Main Street, Bel Air, there’s clearly no stopping Mark Santoro and Sean Lanahan from realizing their musical dreams.
They’re here to remind us to slow down, listen and to remember a time when music wasn’t a drive-by experience.
Join me in welcoming them and their right-hand man, Mr. Jason Chaillou to The MOG!

On this episode, Derrick Credito of The Bohemian Years filled in as a special MOG host and interviewed Brad W. Cox and Gary J. Holmes of Skitzo Calypso; covering 25 years of musical growth and brotherhood.
We discussed our favorite shows, our gig at Zen West on April 15th with Danah Denice, Prison Wife and Old Man Jones, Taylor Hawkin's death and its impact on rock n' roll and a hell of a lot more!

Jayne Elizabeth McCullough, otherwise known in the tattoo community as Jayne Jazebelle, and owner of Jayne Jezebelle Tattoos, was a student at the Maryland Institute College of Art and most recently has taken her illustrations to the musical front with her duo-group, Isilme’.
She’s a talented artist and is as true to herself as she is to her muse – likely an heiress to Cernunnos, an ancient Celtic god who represents nature. She embodies goth as much as Eric McCullough embodies his European ancestral line. Together they have made some beautiful music and have become a “Light” in this otherwise dark world we are forced to traverse

Brian Scott Shealey has been kickin’ ass in the Baltimore alternative rock music scene for a lot of years and his resume reads like that of session musician – from Bloomr to The Country Devils, to Red Valley Nursery, to Orange Horse, it's clear that Brian has been honing his craft for a long time.
When he doesn’t have a guitar in his hand, he’s can be found coaching, teaching and mentoring Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters. We have a lot to cover. Join me in welcoming Brian Shealey to The MOG!

On this show, I sat down with Indies United Publishing House author, Tim Baldwin. By day he teaches creative writing, film and theater at the high school level, but by night he’s a cigar chompin’, whisky stirrin’ writer with a lot of books under his belt.
We first met through our sponsor, Liz Decker at Caprichos Books and recently reunited at Harry Carpenter’s Fright Reads annual book festival. He’s kind, down to Earth and loves reading, camping and LIVE music. Join me in welcoming Tim Baldwin to the MOG!

Heather Carson is a prolific dystopian author, the founder of the online group, Dystopian Ink and a mother. I first met Heather at one of Caprichos Book's ‘Drinking With Authors’ events over scotch and high octane beers. It was clear from the jump that being an author wasn’t just her side hustle, it’s who Heather Carson and was meant to be.
She currently resides in the Pacific Northwest and loves hanging out in the mountains with her family. She’s best known for her City on the Sea, The Dandelion Project and A Haunting Dystopian Tale series. With just a few years under her belt, she’s already put out a dozen books with more on the way. The Dodies are a rock n’ roll duo from the southern Israeli Desert. I was introduced to the group via Mr. Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Chinese Democracy-era guitarist for Guns n’ Roses and axe slinger for Art of Anarchy and Sons of Apollo and I’ve been hooked on their music ever since.
The Dodies music is organic and honest and its heart harkens back to the time of 90’s alternative grunge, but with a modern melodic and punk sensibility. Yoni Avittan and Ran Aronson make a lot of noise for two guys in their proverbial garage and may just be the next big band to kick the rock n’ roll doors in like Nirvana did over 3 decades ago.
