But I do think it's good for you to know what you're getting yourself into when you move abroad - the good, the bad, the ugly. here are more people moving abroad now than there were a few decades ago and I believe this trend will only increase over time. I’ll explain why, but let’s first look at some of the reasons why somebody would want to move abroad in the first place:

1. Better job opportunities
2. Enhance your career
3. Better education system
4. Better living standards
5. Change of life circumstances back home
6. For the adventure (this one was me!)

Have you ever worried about losing family and friend relationships when moving abroad? This was somethig that really worried me before I moved abroad. Would my friends move on to other friends? Would my relationship with my parents and brother and sister weaken over time? Would people... forget about me? 

These were all fears I had before I moved abroad. But in reality, what happened was that I became more intentional about maintaining relationships with my friends and family.
