ARCADIAN is a surprisingly good horror movie starring Nicholas Cage. Cage stars as Paul, the father of two twin 15-year-old boys. Fifteen years ago, Earth was depopulated by mysterious creatures. Now, Paul and his sons, Thomas and Joseph, are living in an isolated, fortified farmhouse in a remote valley, somewhere in Canada. Their lives are tranquil by day and terrifying by night. When the sun sets, mysterious creatures come out and try to get into the farmhouse. One day, Thomas doesn’t return from spending time with his secret girlfriend on a nearby farm. So, Paul orders Joseph to fortify himself inside while he leaves to search for Thomas.

THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE is a war movie and spy thriller based on a true story from World War II. THE LONG GAME follows a group of Mexican American teenagers in 1955 Texas who love the game of golf but are restricted from playing at the country club where they caddy. When School Superintendent JB Peña gets denied from the country club just because he’s Mexican, he’s distraught. JB starts his new job as Superintendent of the school district and sees the boys playing golf in an open field. JB encourages the boys to start a golf team. JB recruits his friend from the war, Frank, played by Dennis Quaid, who’s an excellent golfer and coach. Frank is rough around the edges but sees the potential in the boys. Together, they try to do something that’s never been done before, a Mexican golf team to compete for the state championship.

MARCEL THE SHELL WITH SHOES ON is a live action Claymation comedy about a little seashell wearing tennis shoes who has been living with his grandmother at a rental house. QUIET ON SET: THE DARK SIDE OF KIDS TV is an important five-part documentary exposé streaming on Max. The documentary miniseries discusses the abuse occurring on several Nickelodeon programs produced by Dan Schneider, who got his start starring on ABC-TV’s popular sitcom HEAD OF THE CLASS in the late 1980s. As he succeeded in producing hit after hit for Nickelodeon, Schneider allegedly became more volatile and abusive with the increase of his power.
