The year is 2033, and Australia has turned into a contemporary post-feminist anti-establishment post-apocalyptic western landscape.

It is the year 2021. Linnea and Breki are carrying important information in their heads – just way too much information to be safe. To keep from dying from a serious neurological disorder, they have to dump the data and recover their childhood. What better way – and what better place? – than to record a podcast and dump the data out into the public?

This week, the Movieing On cast goes back to College and tries to join the most popular clique in school. Unfortunately, there were some problems along the way and they spent more time attending funerals than class. It’s all a little confusing.

Today on Movieing On, we receive a visitor from another planet. While scared of him initially, we quickly warm to him and we’re kind of sad to see him leave us. Still, though, he’s changed our lives for the better and all that, so I suppose it’s all good. Learning experience and al.l

This week on Movieing On, Toerag and Breki take a heroic dose of narcotics and put themselves in an isolation chamber. About an hour and a half later, they both come out describing wild hallucinations about William Hurt, Blair Brown, a man in a monkey suit, drawn out CGI work and that funny guy who was in the Police Academy movies. Trying to piece their hallucinations together, they realize they’ve been hallucinating wildly different things, so they piece them together as well as possible.

… Which is pretty much how this movie got made, too.

It’s a Breki week this week on Movieing On, and we all know what that means. Yes, it means another movie rated unusually low in the grand scheme of things. It’s time for … Mortal Kombat.
