Our 32-Film Marvel & DC Superhero Tournament kicks off tomorrow but we're getting started a day early with the wildcard selections from the bracket being decided, as we pit last year's "pre-2008 Comic Book film tournament" winners against the Fox & Sony Comic book movie universes. Which X-Men, Spider-Man, and Fantastic 4 properties will make it through to the Tournament? Can Superman and The Punisher sneak their way into the bracket? Let's find out...

After a week of Darkness from the MRML panelists, comic book month returns With our talk on LOGAN! Nic and Brent are back for their first episode of 2017 as they and Brandon are joined by Matt from the Crossover Podcast to get back into comic geek mode with a discussion on the R-rated final installment in the WOLVERINE trilogy. Also, Bryanna from StarCrossedStyle.com joins us via telephone as she combats a really bad cold to share her thoughts on the film. Now of course we have to warn about spoilers for those who haven't seen the film, but you should also keep in mind that this film will almost certainly be both Hugh Jackman and Sir Patrick Stewart's last X-Men movie.... and after 17 years spent with these actors in the roles of two of our favorite mutants realized on the silver screen, we may get a little emotional. Brandon takes a look back at the 1994 cult classic THE CROW as well as James O'Barr's comic. Released in May of 1994, THE CROW opened at Number 1 at the US box office and its soundtrack topped the American music charts. It marked the Directorial Debut of Alex Proyas and of course was the final Film for rising Star Brandon Lee who had passed away in a tragic on-set accident. O'Barr's comic would go on to become one of the best-selling independent comics of all time. Needless to say, there's a lot to unpack with this one. So let's get into it.

Devon, Brent & Brandon discuss DOCTOR STRANGE. Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme joins the MCU and we have some things to get into. While our panelist all have differing opinions on the film, there is so much going on in the ever growing MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE that we need to go full nerd on this one. The lads discuss how Mads Mikkelsen's Kaecilius likes the naughty bits of the book of Cagliostro, how Baron Mordo's Staff has Brandon thinking about future films and how much The Ancient One looks like Tilda Swinton. The gents also speculate on the location of the soul stone based on the "T.H.A.N.O.S." theory and Brandon just cannot think of "The Mindless ones"... It's good to be back.

the final installment of Slasher Fest, Nic and Brandon are joined by Trevor for TerrorInToronto.com as they discuss the franchise that revitalized the slasher for their generation - SCREAM. Since this is the last episode of our series, we decided to basically make it 3-podcasts-in-1 as Brandon changes the format of the show in each segment, spending segment #1 sleuthing on Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson's first team up - SCREAM (1996), and then re-joining the panel in segment #2 to discuss the remainder of the franchise's installments. Finally, the gents close out the show with a list of more recent slasher-ish films that they've enjoyed before Brandon says the most epic marathon thank you in MRML History!
