MrJeff2000 Explains It All

We return for more Spec-Magical adventures, and don't we all need one right now.

Barry the Butcher sings opera, a girl gets to be a comedian, Chet's popularity threatens Terry, Chet gets an intern, a boy learns to golf, and we end with a crazy Spec-Magical flashback.

When I was in grade school (podcast mentions third grade but my mother thinks it was fourth), I contracted the chicken pox. This was in the days prior to a vaccine. What happened next was two weeks that have been wiped from my memory.

I bought my first cell phone from a cold-caller from AT&T. That was the era when scammers weren't calling five times a day. In the intervening 20 years, there have been several other phones, including my decision to go for the iPhone and stick with them.

In these installments of Spec-Magical Day, a little girl gets to ref the Super Bowl (and makes a call that gets reversed, to her chagrin). Another boy learns how to gamble, and kids learn to ski and toboggan.

I made a second charity pickup at a house with several thousand books.

Using all the skills I've acquired over the time I've been doing this for the book sale, I turned it into a tremendous victory for everyone, including the donor.

On this installment of Spec-Magical Day, Matt heated up the rivalry between creator and host Terry Oscar and Chet the Intern.

Kids want to raise money for charity, learn to believe in magic, entertain foreign visitors, work at a construction site, and play with friends. Matt even insisted on finally getting his OWN spec-magical day.

I put off upgrading my cable equipment for a few months.

Then I thought it was as easy as plug-and-play.

Turns out the reality was a little different.

I'm breaking up the Florida trip with a new Spec-Magical Day episode. Segments include snow shoveling, recipes, all-day desserts, a toilet car (yes, you heard that right), pro wrestling, and a talented little girl who wants to host...Spec-Magical Day.

Terry Oscår is back with new segments of "Spec-Magical Day," with kids who dream about helping others, helping animals, sharing their interests, and serving the public.

Look for a second show to drop later this week, as I will be playing catchup due to an enormous backlog of episodes.

As 2019 winds to a close, it's time for podcast 400!

This week is a recap of the book sale from early December.

Next week: Spec-Magical 3 and then a few episodes breaking down my Florida vacation. I'm only on page 4 of my notes and day two.
