As Christians it's so easy to think that we would choose God above everything else...every. single. time.

But is that what we do? Do we spend out time, talents, and treasures honoring Him?

Do we really "fear the Lord" the way Proverbs tells us to?

This week we took at look at Solomon's prayer in 1 Kings 3 and Peter's lack of prayer in the New Testament.

It's incredible how much talking with God will change your life! And love when my pastor makes the connection between the Old Testament and the New Testament. Everything points to Jesus!

The Old Testament ALWAYS points to Jesus! Always! The connection between Abraham & Isaac is so similar to God & Jesus.

What we learn from Abraham & Isaac is that faith without actions is nothing, God always provides a way, and even when things look bad, God's plan is better!

This week our sermon was about the covenant God made with Abraham and how it relates to the crucifixion of Jesus. It's amazing how everything in the New Testament points back to Jesus.

Our church is coving the entire Bible in a year. This past Sunday we started in Genesis. God creates, sin corrupts, BUT JESUS REDEEMS! There's so much in this sermon that I can't possibly cover it in this podcast.
