Our guest today is David Slomkowski, the founder and executive director of Athletes Serving Athletes. An organization dedicated to elevating the quality of life for individuals with limited mobility by empowering them to train for and participate in mainstream running events.

Sports have had a long history in David’s life from his success as a collegiate athlete to their transformative role in his life through adulthood. He credits his purposefully driven life to a "gift of desperation" - a powerful take on using life's struggles and our past as an opportunity to help others.

This episode highlights an organization that not only serves individuals but our entire community by reminding us that there are angels on earth.
