Kriss & Phenom review Hacksaw Ridge, a war film about the first Conscientious Objector to win the Medal of Honor. It's directed by anti-semitic, women beating, racist Mel Gibson (nah Mel, no matter how good the movie is, we didn't forget).

Time to review the final Comic Book Movie of 2016, Doctor Strange. We not only review this film but talk about some of the controversy surrounding it and how the film tries to address that. Some of it works, some of it doesn't. But there's a lot to work with here and visually, its one of the most stunning comic book films to date. Give our review a listen.

Agents of SHIELD is on another level and showing off this season. We knew we would get the origin of how Robbie became Ghost Rider but we didn't think that would involve Johnny Blaze. We also come full circle and this episode confirms a tie-in with the events of last season of Agent Carter. There's a lot to talk about here and this show knows to give us what we want.

This Super Tuesday Recap for The Flash starts off with a rant. Yes, a rant about the DC Cinematic Universe losing Rick Famuyiwa as director of the Flash movie. It's safe to say that both Dpalm AND Kriss fed the fuck up with what Warner Brothers is doing. They'll get 88 episodes of The Flash on TV before this movie comes out, there's no way the movie meets anyone's expectations.

On to this episode, this week the focus was mainly on the secondary characters and it works because the show has earned it. We meet Caitlyn's mom as well as learning why Julian is such an asshole. Oh and "HR Wells" is a phony. The team should really stop trusting anyone named Wells. Listen to our recap and let us know what you think.

This Character Corner we take a trip to the mystical side of the Marvel Universe and talk about Doctor Stephen Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme. With Doctor Strange making his live action debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we thought it wise to give a break down of the character and some essential reading. We start off with his origins and discuss Strange's ethnicity as well as some of the problematic issues at the base of the character. Dpalm talks about some of his issues with early appearances of Doctor Strange and how the more modern takes address some of those issues and make the character more interesting. We also discuss the trade paperback, Doctor Strange & Doctor Doom: Triumph & Torment and how it's not only great insight into both the characters of Strange and Doom but also a good starting point before getting into Hickman's New Avengers & Secret Wars. Give the episode a listen and let us know what you think.

Issues:

• Strange Tales #110-146
  • Issues #1110 - First Appearance
  • Issue  #111 = First appearance of Baron Mordo

Arrow has gotten back to the basics of Season 1 & 2 with a familiar but different Oliver. He's still the guy who will kick your ass because he "cares" but he also doesn't leave a man behind. We also see his team consolidate behind him although we have some questions about Wild Dog's guns, Evelyn being Artemis and the lack of T-Spheres for Mr. Terrific, but we're still loving the show. Also, these are some of the best flashbacks of the series.

For Legends of Tomorrow, the white savior plot line in this episode is a bit problematic but we're loving the character interactions and everything else. We have Captain Sara Lance, Vixen joining the team and finally get a legit reason why Firestorm isn't on every mission. Oh and Ray finally does a smart thing and destroys his suit

Check out our recaps of both episodes of  Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.
