In the last few years I have really changed in my level of confidence. If you told me in school that i would be following my dreams of designing my own podcast and sharing out my fashion ideas on instagram I would have laughed awkwardly and walked away. I have definitely grown in confidence. It taken a lot for me to grow my confidence and it didn’t happen over night it took some time. It also took some unpredicted life events that pushed me into being more confident. I thought I would be worth sharing some of the things that have supported me in growing my confidence and learning to Express myself. A few weeks ago was child mental health awareness week and the theme was express yourself. That got me thinking about how I have learnt to express myself. I feel as i have gotten older i have just started to feel that i have my own voice. I haven’t completely changed I definitely still feel very shy in large groups of people and also feel the power in some relationships and get shy. I would still call myself a shy girl at heart.

So I am welcoming you back to other podcast. The first of 2021. Going into 2021 I have been thinking about friendships. Something i have learnt in my 23 years on planet earth is that there are a lot of different types of friendships. When I was little I would dream about having that best friend I could do anything with and I did have this but not just in one person. I am someone that really values my friends. I will treat them like family as i am a only child maybe it comes from that. But I have definitely learnt there are all different kinds of friendships out there. Some friendships can chip your chip and other friends can pour you the postivitea you needed.

My own twist on the metaphor of broken crayon still colour. This podcast is where i will discuss the different things that might chip away at our mugs of life but also how we still can get some positivtea out of these mugs. This podcast is reflecting on the positives and negatives of 2020 for me personally. 2020 has been a very odd year, We all didn’t except to come our way. It has definitely tested us to say the least. Some more than others. I recently put out a instagram stating that it is normal this week you will see load of people setting goals for 2021 and reflection on all that they have achieved through 2020. However it’s okay if this year you have hardly achieve anything. As getting through 2020 is an achievement in itself. Don’t feel discouraged by the fact that a lot of your goals may have been put on hold this year. Or you may even feel that you have gone backwards due to losing a job or just within yourself. Maybe you had to move home from uni. I don’t know. But I wanted to say to those people you have achieved you have gotten to the end of a really rough year. Who knows it might put you on a new journey you didn’t except. Happy new year to all my listeners.

PODMAS — The start of PODMAS. I know that youtubers do VLOGMAS where they upload a video everyday of what they are up. I thought I would do podmas. I will not be upload everyday dont worry, that would get boring as you are just hearing my voice. But up until christmas in December I am going to be uploading a christmas themed podcast once or twice a week.

Today I am going to talk christmas and all the reasons I love this time of year.  With it being December I am allowed to say the C word now. Although being a christmas lover I will happily talk about it in October. If your grinch this episode is probably not going to be for you I am sorry.
