Discipleship is the lifelong process of surrendering everything to Jesus!

We kick off 2025 examining God’s heart for Multiplication. As God’s people abide with Him, we begin to shape our lives to reflect his heart.

For Christmas Eve, we take a look at the Magi who traveled hundreds of miles to worship the new king. Christmas is a yearly reminder that the worship of Jesus is what we were made for, but we have to chose it for ourselves.

The Kingdom of Herod was alive in well at the time of Jesus’ birth. His Kingdom embodied the values that Kings and Kingdoms have historically carried: Impersonal, Reactionary, Full of Power Grabs. But the good news of Chrsitmas is that a new King has been born to implement a better kingdom.

This week we examine the next set of Impossible claims made by Matthew: Mary was pregnant by the Holy Spirit, therefore the child is Immanuel, therefore He will save the world from sin. We will examine these claims through the questions of. Is it true, Is it good, Is it for me?

James ends his letter to the church with an invitation to prayer. While the whole of the letter has been a call to action, there is a needed reminder that action without prayer lacks power. Followers of Jesus need both a personal and corporate vision of talking to God.

Arrogance in the church is the next item up for James to confront. Arrogance operates under three claims: It’s your fault, I’m better than you, Tomorrow is mine. James will remind the church, that God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
