By Mike and Rob get lost in the Extended DC and Marvel Universes
The podcast currently has 34 episodes available.
Our Heroes have been busy enjoying a brief Summer Vacation and had a chance to join friend-of-the-show John DeLucca's podcast Garbage Theatre to discuss the absurdly long Justice League: Snyder Cut. We discuss everything from hacky needle-drops to the anatomy in mother-boxes in this wacky, bloated episode. Special thanks to John, Blake, and Chase of Garbage Theatre for having us!

Our Heroes make like NBC and bid a premature farewell to Constantine (2014). Solid performances, twisting plots, and a solid effects budget couldn't save the show from network notes, poor ratings, and more unanswered sub-plots than The Bible. Despite its flaws, this series is truly one of the few Multiversal Anomalies worthy of more love and attention.

Our Heroes suppress their inner demons long enough to enjoy another round of Constantine (2014). The rag-tag team of mystical investigators led by John Constantine continue to follow their Magic Mcguffin Map around the Continental U.S. uncovering sinister plots wherever they go. Things finally start making some sense when they discover that an ancient sect of South American Warlocks might be the cause of the looming Rising Darkness. Despite the dark tone, there is plenty of cheeky nonsense to make this show one of the best we've watched yet!

Our Heroes venture into the world of Warlocks and Mysticism in NBC's neglected adaptation of Constantine. Matt Ryan takes on the titular role of punk con-man turned dabbler of the dark arts. Unsurprisingly, this super dark and gritty comic classic wasn't ready for prime-time audiences....leaving the show and character in a seemingly appropriate state of purgatory. Dust off your best trench-coat and sharpen your Liverpudlian wit as we open our minds-eye to Constantine!

Our Heroes take a victory lap after completing their viewing of Japanese Spiderman by exploring some of the miscellaneous oddities that resulted from the show's success. From Transforming Toys to The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, the legacy of Japanese Spiderman is clearly still going strong. Unfortunately, the three-year deal between Marvel and Japan also resulted in a couple head-scratching adaptations...including a made-for-tv animated feature of the Tomb of Dracula!

Our Heroes continue their crash course in Astro-Archeology and recap several episodes of Japanese Spiderman. Takuya Yamashiro and the gang continue their battle against the evil Professor Monster and his Iron Cross Army, seeking revenge for the man from Planet Spider. Words like "bonkers" and "bananas" don't begin to do this show justice...so make sure to check out the series in its entirety at archive.org and follow along at home!

Our Heroes fully immerse themselves in the world of pleated metal skirts and enchanted water serpents to discuss 1985's Epic Fantasy mess: Red Sonja. They are joined in their quest by creator of Shiner Comics and fan of all things Sword & Sorcery, John G. The movie that launched Brigitte Nielson and should have killed Arnold Schwarzenegger's career is somehow equal parts fascinating and terrible. Grab your most bejeweled sword and strap on your best cod-piece while we hack and slash our way to meet our destiny!

Our heroes slip into their favorite underoos and take another break from the routine to watch a bunch of cartoons! Continuing our Swords & Sorcery & Sandals Month, we explore Thundarr The Barbarian, Dungeons & Dragons, and the 1992 Conan The Adventurer. Is future fantasy kind of cool? Who names their child Presto? Are pomegranates just a corporate conspiracy? The answers might surprise you!
