Murder Me on Monday

This episode was originally released in March 2023 as a Patreon Exclusive.

The perpetrator has been charged with an additional 22 murders but the DA has decided not to pursue the death penalty in the last few days.

Learn more about him than the headlines tell you.

Mother:
A serial killer no one has heard of. Partially because the world closed down for two years, or is it because the victims were elderly?

Is he as bad as Dr Shipman, or is it headlines for the clicks?

Cameron:

You can't convince me that a name like Chemirmir he isn't actually a member of the russian mob and these are all hits...

A young woman finding her way in the world goes on a date, it is a success.  Decides to meet the following day and is never seen alive again.

Was it a kinky game gone wrong, or was one of the five versions of events even remotely close to the truth?

Its not Halloween but we have Vampires, Witches and a coven, or was he trying to start his own cult?

We also have missing body parts AGAIN (swear its not deliberate) plus a rather dramatic court appearance.

A former Marine, a sharp shooter with an impeccable record gets one of the most sought after posts in the police force after leaving the military.

His life starts to go off the rails and he gets posted to a location that he feels is a demotion, add to that he believes the locals look down on him and the simmering resentment and anger is always just below the surface until, one day, it explodes.

Was an insect the spark that set the fire, or has it become the stuff of legends?

The spree killer you have probably never heard of.

When a man goes missing, family and friends are frantic, except for the newly minted wife.

She cannot keep her stories straight.

Friends come forward with strange stories, with the wife driving them all.

Getting divorce or annulment or the marriage dissolved should have been the solution.

Murder, on Federal land was her biggest mistake.

When a woman goes missing, family and friends are frantic as it appears to be a random abduction.  Police automatically look at the partner.

It takes six weeks for him to crack, in a rather dramatic way.

Over five years of lies come to light, was his pathological lying that was the cause, or perhaps a TBI from years previously?

Either way, none of it excuses the murder of a pregnant woman.

Parental expectations may have pushed this guy to the edge, but what tipped him over was sibling rivalry.

Even if she did provoke him as he AND his parents claimed, she did not deserve to die, he could have stopped the attack many times.

He also had a blind spot regarding body disposal.  How he expected to get away with it is baffling.

And we have missing body parts, again…

You have a good middle class upbringing, you have your future mapped with your older adored brother.  Until you do something unbelievably stupid and get fired from the job you had been studying for your whole life.

You descend into depression, your family try and lift you up.  You fall further into an addiction that no one can break you free from, and you don’t want to.

The “why” still makes no sense.

But were authorities blinkered when investigating?
