After a two-week holiday break, Murder, My Dude returns with a vengeance! And, like all great MMD episodes, many, many side tangents, too! After a half hour talking about the holidays and their political implications, the often imitated, never duplicated This Week In Murder looks at some of the most brutal and bizarre deaths of late 2019 and early 2020. After that, we're on to Hollywood's most famous unsolved crime: Elizabeth Short a.k.a. The Black Dahlia. After that, we crown the worst death of 2019 (even though one of them happened in 2018).

Sometimes our hosts are rusty, sometimes they're unfocused, but this episode is as packed with laughs as any of the first fifty. Check it out!

Season two comes to an end with our biggest dive into a featured topic ever. Jack The Ripper, the grandfather of all serial killers, is still at the tip of tongues 130 years after his crime spree began. The first half of this episode takes a look at the most famous whodunit of all-time, while the second half breaks down the list of suspects and tries to unmask the man who terrorized Whitechapel in the Autumn of 1888.

Meanwhile, Jackson and B.P. are terrorized by their greatest adversary of all time: BASIC MATH!

We'll be off for a couple weeks after this, but be sure to be there when Season 3 launches in January! In the meantime, make sure to stay until the end (after the ending music stops, hint, hint) for something extra special to tide you over.

Like many other people, B.P. has watched the new Netflix blockbuster release The Irishman, so what better time than now to delve into one of the most famous missing persons cases of all time: the disappearance and likely death of former International Brotherhood of Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa. This episode chronicles Hoffa's rise to power, his feud with the Kennedys and eventual downfall, and the attempt to regain control of his union that likely resulted in his death.

Elsewhere on the show, This Week In Murder looks at a pair of brutal murders and a Snapchat Gone Wrong. As always, we close with an edition Who Died The Worst? This one features three people whose bad decisions brought upon their demise.

We go back into the archives to bring back an old segment that covers topics that are almost murder (my dude).  From there, our main course is the tragic story of Kelsey Berreth, who disappeared in Thanksgiving of 2018, never to be seen again.

Second time's the charm! Kind of. Jackson and B.P. are a little cranky this week because they had to record the show twice. The first go at it was ruined by audio issues (but the brave among you can check it out as a bonus!) but this version is a worthy successor.

Just in time for Halloween, our hosts discuss the Salem Witch Trials: a very, very dark point in Colonial America. Paranoia and religious hysteria combined to create a culture of distrust and fear with deadly consequences. This episode explores the horrible results while also celebrating MMD's First Birthday! Well, We screwed up! 

Actually, B.P. screwed up while making the recording. The result was this horrible sounding hunk of audio. There are some cool stories and great laughs along the way, though, so we've decided to release it anyway to celebrate Murder, My Dude's first birthday!

Like the official Episode 43, this episode explores the sinister Salem Witch Trials, but it does so with Jackson sounding like he's a mile away from the microphone, and there's also a weird hum in the background.
