Hello Mogpies! Through Disney's history they have taken stories of the past and changed them to be more acceptable by mass audiences. They take a story that does not have a happy ending and ensure they get their "happily ever after". But is this the right thing to do? Once we realize the true origins does that change our memories of the films and how they shaped us as children? Also while the dilemmas faced by the typical Disney princess is usually the same, the ones thrust upon the individuals in the original stories are much more dark in origin and have rather dangerous outcomes. Hello Mogpies! This is a difficult week for Americans. There have been recent changes put in place that are sending us backwards. These are not small changes, these are not things that can be ignored. The changes this week will have serious repercussions in the near future. We are a country divided and we had hoped that the chaos was over...but it is not. Making it easier to carry a gun in one of the most populated cities where violence against asian Americans was not long ago. The disregard of the Miranda Rights, so everything you say can be wrongly interpreted and used against you. A woman's right to choose slipping away with Roe v Wade being overturned. Everything about this week feels like a joke, like we could never have gone back like this. We need to pay attention to this country and be smarter with whoo we elect. And with these changes the true colors of some senators are coming out, just blatant racism throw out over social media with no regards for what they are really saying. The government does not fear the people, they do not care what we think and that. is not how it supposed to be...

Hello Mogpies! We are back again with another fantastic film that showcases dilemmas in an amazing way. That film is Parasite, directed by Bong Joon-ho. He is a master at his craft and has made many memorable films that all have such a deep meaning and message behind them. He is able to capture humanity so well and that. can be seen in Parasite. This is a movie about classism and making your life better. But instead of working your way to the top and creating that fantasy we see a family lie their way to comfort and see how karma comes back for them. The interesting thing about this film is regardless of their so called success they never do anything to better their living situation at home. As if that is never on their mind and they know that ultimately this is where they belong. This is a beautiful film and such a roller coaster to watch. So enjoy this week as we dive in to this masterpiece.

The movie rendition of his novel, "Blade Runner" does such an amazing job of catching all of the small nuances from the novel. So, many questions come up throughout the story. Hello Mogpies! It is Mental Health Awareness month and there are some amazing resources available to anyone that needs/wants help with anything that is affecting them. But this has not always been the case and a lot of our modern practices come from experiments that may have been deemed unethical at this point. Medical practices are difficult to judge just because we need to test them on people to see what they will do, but as history has shown us doing something in the "name of science" is rather dangerous. We discuss various forms of "treatment" that have been used throughout the years, some of which may really shock you. So sit back and enjoy!

But these skills were taught to him by a German Overseer, the same one that then pitted Harry up against his fellow brothers gladiator style in a fight to the death. What would you do to survive? Would you endure the hate of your people? Or would you take a fall?

Hello Mogpies! So this was the missing episode from last week. Please enjoy! Everyday we are tasked to make a multitude of choices and some of them may leave us wondering if we made the right choice. This mentality can really lead to depression and buyers remorse but according to economists the fact that we have so many choices to pick from we should be happier with our decisions. I dont know about you but that really is not the case for me. I always feel like I have to do so much research and seem too often beat myself up with most decisions when I instantly find something that either appears to be better or is just an unknown. There is no really way to battle this feeling but maybe we can dampen these feelings by better understanding what is going on.
