The strings rule the roost in this performance but I think you will agree that the arrangement was modernised just enough to make Suzuki students' ears tingle.
This is a fun piece that moves quickly and unapologetically.

I love working on this arrangement as I remember well playing it acoustically on guitar at boarding school in the 1970s. We thought we were very cool.
This version is with the orchestra and might be deemed quite a heavy arrangement but I like that because it contrasts with our expectations of the folk genre.
