Steve’s back in the saddle again and brings us yet another unique and creative band to the podcast. What will Kevin think of the music this week? Do you predict that our good friend Ric Flair will make an appearance in this episode? Tune in to find out!
In a previous episode with Mark Rose of Spitalfield, he said that every genre has good music in it, just depends on what genre speaks to you the most. We feel this is a perfect episode to explain that statement. Although this is not a genre that normally speaks to Kevin, he can definitely appreciate the talent. Overall, nobody’s opinion on a band or artist is wrong, it’s just a matter of what musical style or song speaks to you in your life at that time. We certainly hope that this podcast is bringing you music that is broadening your horizons. This week’s band will certainly do that for some, all you have to do is keep an open mind.
Thank you again for joining us this week and be sure to come back next week when we bring another band to listen to. We certainly appreciate your support! Don’t forget to follow us on social media so you can get up to date information. Also, don’t forget to check out our patreon page if you are able to help out financially, we have some pretty cool perks set up. We will see you next Monday!

This week, Kevin is back in control and lets the music speak for itself! There isn’t a TON of history out there on this band but it’s a band he’s liked for quite some time. Kevin hopes Steve will like the band but also wants to see if Steve KNOWS the band, especially since this band was signed on the record label that Steve mentions most. Listen in as this one unfolds!
Kevin openly admits that he doesn’t listen to the lyrics when he first hears a song but for this band the lyrics and the voice behind them is what he was drawn to. The guys get into a discussion over lyrical content when it comes down to Christian based lyrics. This week’s band has quite a bit of that but does it seem too over the top? Or is it written in a smart way? This band really came at a time in Kevin’s personal faith that made this band stick out. Yes, sometimes Christian based lyrics can come off as cheesy, but this band has a strong lyricist and take a really good approach to this topic. This band definitely has a radio sound and a feeling of “what could have been” which always leads to the question; Where could this band have gone on a bigger label with a stronger push to the mainstream radio? Unfortunately this band is no longer together so there is no clear answer to those questions.

We’re always excited to bring you new music each and every Monday. This week is even more exciting with Mark Rose of Spitalfield joining us. He sat down to show us one of his personal favorite bands!
We got to hear about this band and their interesting style, and talked a bit about the music industry and how tricky it really can be. This band falls into the category of "what could have been" and who knows if this band had received the proper support if they could have been more. The best part is the music is still out there for you to discover. Thankfully Mark loves this band enough to show us all their magic.
We can't thank Mark enough for joining us this week. Be sure to check out his solo work and support his website Downwrite.com. Music will always live on but helping out artists like Mark to continue to make music is greatly appreciated. Thank you for joining us this week and we will see you next Monday!

Steve is up this week and dives right into the music. He decided to show off an artist that he’s been following and repping for years. Who could it possibly be? Well there is only one way to find out isn’t there?! Take a seat in a comfortable chair and enjoy this week’s episode.
Have you ever been part of a Street Team for a band or artist? It almost feels like a sense of ownership and pride for the band and music. It’s such a cool way for bands to get their name out there and when you join a street team you can generally get some cool perks. If you listen this week you’ll hear a cool story that Steve tells about a Street Team Contes…..and we all know Steve’s track record with contests!
Are there any bands you’ve promoted via street team or has a street team ever worked for you? What bands have you discovered because someone gave you a sticker, cd, or digital download? There are so many ways to contact us, and we’d love to hear your stories. We certainly hope you enjoyed this week’s episode and as always we will see you next Monday!

Well, well, well…. We meet again! Kevin presents this week and shows off a band that he’s JUST getting into. This band is doing some cool things and are on the rise! In a previous episode Kevin mentioned it was tough for him to get into new music these days and he should really take advantage of spotify to find something that sparks his interest. Spotify has a new playlist called “Your Daily Drive” where it plays you some current events/news feed and in between news segments it plays you music you like. Such a good idea! This band popped up in that daily drive mix and he immediately jumped on it.
Overall, we as music lovers have it pretty easy with Spotify. They do a great job gathering music for you that you like and music that you MIGHT like. It is so cool! No, we are not sponsored by Spotify, but we could be (psst! Spotify, give us a call!)
We’d love to hear from you! Don’t be shy, we don’t bite! Thank you again for joining us this week and we will see you next Monday!

This week Steve shows us some music that he really likes, or is it loves? Either way it will probably get you up out of your seat to dance. What do you think of this week’s band? If you do not know how to reach us just scroll down and find all of our social media links and contact info.
So this podcast has seen some pretty interesting music come through and we really hope you have been enjoying the journey with us. When Steve first heard this band they were one that he had to work for to get a copy of their album because it wasn’t available in the US at the time. Have you ever felt like you discovered a gem that you felt nobody else saw? Did you get a sense of pride and almost part ownership of a band when you discovered them? All you want to do is shout it out for others to hear which is exactly what Steve does this week.
We want to thank you again for joining us each and every week. Please give us a rating and review on Apple podcasts and don’t forget to check out the Patreon page if you want to help us out even more. As always, we will see you next Monday!

Our good friend John Morbacher joins us this week and Kevin is presenting another band from his High School years. The band is still out there doing their thing and have put out tons of music!
One of the great things about this band is that they’ve been together for a long time and the lineup has never really changed! You don’t really see that too much these days! Kevin goes back to their first album for the second song and you can just hear the difference in recording quality. Music has come a long way for sure where you used to record live in a studio to now where bands are recording whole albums without stepping foot in the same room as each other. It is definitely a cool thing but it does make you wonder if things would be different if people would write and record music like they used to.
Thanks to John for jumping in this week and we hope you enjoyed the conversation and the music.

We are back with another HOT episode! Before the guys jump into the music we get to learn a little bit about Steve and his personal tastes. For instance he doesn’t like hot drinks! He will take lukewarm chocolate over hot chocolate! But this isn’t the “How Steve Likes His Drinks Podcast” This is the Music Crush Monday Podcast so let’s get to the music!
Steve’s choice of music this week is another one on his favorites. This week’s band is a little more unique in musical style than the bands around them at the time. Where do they fall on Kevin’s list? You will have to tune in to find out what he thinks. What does Ric Flair think of it?
Has a band ever left a bad taste in your mouth just because of a past experience? Are you willing to give a band a 2nd try after writing them off so long ago? Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! Subscribe to the podcast wherever you can and thank you for your support and we’ll see you next Monday!

Kevin admits right from the start this is a band he loves and has been listening to for quite some time. But first the guys go back to high school days and talk about how they took tests which Kevin clearly figures out why he was a C student! But this isn’t the Multiple Choice Monday Podcast, this is the Music Crush Monday Podcast so on to the music!
It is no surprise to ANYONE that has been following this podcast that Steve is able to guess who the band is even though he has never really listened to them. Are you able to guess who this band is? Listen to the music before you check out who it is and see if you can get it. Let us know what you think of the band this week as well! We have all of our contact information below so you can reach out to us but don’t scroll down too far because it will give away who the band is!
The guys talk a lot about this band’s “hit song” and how Kevin experienced a crowd that only wants to hear that song. What’s your take on this? It’s a fine line to walk when you want your favorite bands to succeed, but you also want them to be appreciated for who they are, and not just the “hit” song on the radio. What bands are you into that have grown over time? Does it make you happy or upset to see a band you have loved from the beginning grow a larger fan base? We look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you again for joining us this week and tune in next week as Steve brings another band of his choice to the podcast! Don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast, follow us on social media, and give us a rating and review on Apple Podcast! Thank you for the support, we will see you next Monday!
