With Valentines Day past us, Music Medicine gets down with love. But we’re doing it in an alternative way. I drop breaks and deep electronica to explore love when you’re alone and love for the Earth as well as the good old romantic love. There’s heart-felt classics from Oh Wonder and Bob Moses, a cheeky love song from Fish From Japan and The Melody Men, and lush, fresh cuts from Matt Ryder and Ross From Friends.

I kick off this years Movement Medicine with a heap of fresh tracks and pre-releases. There’s brand new Drum n Bass from Lowr, melodic techno courtesy of Cebb & Delon and breaks by Breacon. I'm also repping the sisters with new tunes from Xinobi featuring Meta on vocal duties, and Da Capo’s remix of Angelique Kidjo’s classic, Agolo. Plus, you get a chance to dance your intentions for 2022.

“One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.” In this months’ dose of Music Medicine, I drop beats to help navigate the full spectrum of what it means to be human. There’s new releases from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Sun-El Musician, as well as Voodoo and Prayers, the label run by John Lee Fenton – the man behind the show’s artwork. There’s also a relaxing mix to soothe the soul and uplift the heart with electronic tracks and sounds from Nature interspersing live recordings of my sound healing instruments to guide you through a journey towards better health and wellbeing.

Music Medicine is full of fresh music this month with brand new tracks from Bonobo, Nightmares on Wax and Goldie’s new moniker, Subjective. Hear how Dutch duo Amy Root have translated William Turner’s paintings into sound and the masterful way Absolute has mashed up Raw Silk’s Do It To The Music.

We’ll also be delving into music and movement to explore the energies of yin, yang and yeung; yin being the receptive feminine energy, yang the active masculine energy and yeung the mix of the two. Regardless of your gender or how you identify, we all have these energies inside of us, and exploring them through the dance allows us to become more complete, more whole.
