Anna Katarina is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter based in Vancouver, BC. She plays keys and guitar. She talked to us about her writing process, writing a song for her sister, and her debut solo album Daisychain. Anna shared with us her experience pursuing her musical career at Berklee College of Music and her 4-month residency in Nashville, Tennessee. Marie Hui is based in Vancouver and is an experienced performer of R&B, funk, pop, and soul among others which she mentions are also influences. Since she began her musical career in 2005, Marie has developed into a popular performer for numerous bands and a studio singer. In addition to playing across Canada, the USA, and Asia, Marie has experience writing and recording music for various production companies.

Adrina Espin is part of this amazing band called RevoluSon is a group of exceptional musicians united by love and passion for Cuban music and work towards elevating the culture, promoting social change and artistic freedom. The group was formed in 2017 as a nomadic musical duo that performed in the streets of magical towns, beaches and tourist cities in Mexico. Founding members Adrian Espin and León Mendez’ shared amazement for Cuban music led them to collaborate with many different local musicians united by a love and passion for Cuban music and it’s ability to make audiences sing, dance and enjoy. The group eventually arrived in Guanajuato, home of one of the most important cultural festivals in the world, here they met local musician Luis Ramírez. Luis was the key piece they had been missing, he joined the band in 2019 elevating the group with his experience and musicianship as a bassist and vocalist.

Flor Curcio es una cantautora, intérprete, guitarrista y musico-terapeuta de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Experienced vocalist Marlie Collins has delighted audiences across the world with her distinctive soulful tone. Her music combines modern 70's funk with southern soul. Marlie has had professional acting training and has a long history of playing both lead and supporting parts on stage and cinema. She works as the lead vocalist for the Vancouver-based bands Side One and Mooncoin Productions when she is not creating and performing her own music. She also teaches voice at the Sarah Mclachlan School of Music, works as a professional voice actor, and makes appearances in movie and tv productions.

Jair Cruz Roque es un percusionista del Estado de México radicado en Vancouver desde hace un año y medio. El camino de Jair tocando los bongos y las congas empezó hace dos años cuando familiares lo involucraron para que empezara a tocar con ellos. También nos cuenta como antes no disfrutaba mucho de la salsa, merengue, ni bachata sino hasta que empezó a aprender a tocarla. Actualmente Jair toca con diversos grupos como Rumba 7, Orquesta Tabasko y otros proyectos de rock en español y bachata por todo Vancouver.

Ness Nöst is a singer-songwriter, guitar, and key player from Montreal based in Vancouver. She talked to us about how she started in theatre and then discovered she wanted to do music. She came to visit BC and decided she wanted to stay and start off her musical career in the west. We talked about her designing her own merchandise and the service industry being inspiration for a song on her debut EP. Bradley Barkman is a Canadian singer based in Vancouver since 2014. Bradley talks to us about growing up and singing in a choir as a Soprano boy across churches and cathedrals in England. He also talks to us about paying tribute to icons, singing Cristina Aguilera's songs in Spanish, and going back to singing original material for upcoming projects. Raúl Castro is an accordionist and a singer song-writer from Sinaloa based in Vancouver since 2 years ago. Natalie Adele is an American singer songwriter based in Los Angeles. She studied to be a writer and worked in the film industry for some time until later she realized she was not happy. Although she is very new in the music scene, she talked to us about performing some of her songs live and how she is already working on recording some of her originals this year.
