Tesla CEO Elon Musk told investors on Tuesday that the time he is spending with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will “drop significantly” as he moves to spend more time on his auto company. The remarks came as Tesla announced on April 22 that both revenue and profits fell significantly in the first quarter of 2025, with the company struggling to deal with competitive pressure and negative political sentiment against Musk.

Fire officials said Wednesday that the wildfire in southern New Jersey has been contained. Since Tuesday, the blaze has burned more than 11,500 acres and caused the evacuation of more than 3,000 people.

At least 26 people were killed and 17 others wounded after assailants opened fire on a group of tourists in Indian-controlled Kashmir, the worst assault targeting civilians in years.
